boulevard. we have construction on the tacony-palmyra stay on the betsy ross bridge cough up the few extra dollars to do that instead. on i-95 speeds are starting to drop in the work zone at cottman and southbound by girard. this is the scene along i-95 at girard where we have the northbound work zone, you can see the blockage. right lane. that northbound work zone is expected to extend toward allegheny avenue tonight. it has expected to happen last monday night, so tonight, 10:00 p.m. we expect the northbound work zone to extend. >> let's go back to the transit situation, tens of thousands of people who depend on septa's regional rails to get to and from work are breathing a sigh of relief. the commuter trains are working on schedule following a one day strike over the weekend. katherine scott joins us live at

the bala station with the details. >> reporter: people were thinking constituency plans, what would happen if there was a walkout. there was a strike that lasted one day. normal separations are in effect at -- normal operations are in effect at bala and other regional stations. on sunday regional trains were moving again. 400 workers haven't had contracts in five years, they wanted an additional 3% on top of the raises offered and retro pay. president obama created a 3-member emergency board to hear arguments from septa's two unions. the regional rails carry 60,000 passengers each weekday. commuters are looking for a more permanent solution here. >> a long term solution wobble better, so that possibly this

doesn't happen next summer or the summers to come. >> reporter: animal as for that board, the hearings are expected to begin next week and they should make the recommendation to the president by mid july. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> new this morning on "action news," a suspicious fire is under investigation in south jersey. camden county police are questioning a number of people after a fire erupted at old collings avenue and waterford works. fire and smoke bellowed from the house as crews pulled up to the scene. no word on what started the fire or if anyone was hurt. >> a shooting over the weekend stunned a quiet lehigh valley community. police are searching for the gunman who opened the fire near bethlehem's yasko's park. one man was wounded. people are thankful that the gun

expected to report to prison in ohio. raphael mack will serve a 30 month of month sentence. tony mack will serve four years and 10 months behind bars, the pair have appealed their sentences. >> the passengers on board a germany bound flight should get to their destination following an emergency return to philadelphia international airport. this was the view from sky6 live hd as the flight 427 touched down last night. the pilot turned around when the landings gear would not retrack. they circled overhead for two hours until they dumped fuel.
