so too does the protests that descended into violence and chaos. in one instance the place had to use stun guns and teargas to break up at demonstration about 200 people. they are marching to mar kana stadium where the games were held. there was a police line blocking entrance to the stadium. the protestors are angry over lavish spending for world cup despite the impoverished conditions. and most americans may be able to camp the game online or game. they are conserving power so the game will not be interrupted.

the weekend. we are into a bit of a heat wave. 90-degree temperatures coming our way. it's quiet. it's very warm out there and moderately humid. the heat and humidity goes hand-in-hand. it spikes on tuesday. 88 degrees. it's 5 degrees warmer than the high of 83. and the record is setback in 1991. the low coming in at 62 degrees. 86 in the lehigh valley. 83 in wilmington. it's cooler on the shore. the winds out of the south east on the atlantic. the sea breeze kicked in. beautiful. the temperatures in the lower 70s. at home it's quiet right now. we look to the west. there are some thunderstorms and downpours popping up in western pennsylvania. some of that could survive.
