heat of the day. stay inside, and use public transportation. temperatures are warming up everywhere, 83 in quakertown and 86 already right now in coatesville, 89 in chester and even in center city. looking at the suburbs in new jersey, we are in the upper 80s in new jersey and 89 in hammonton and vineland. 86 in dover, delaware. we are heating up today for the first time in nine months. the first 90 plus degree day since september 11th, the first time in a while we have had this heat and humidity. if you are headed to the union game, it's warm and humid at 7:00 and start time of 84 and 90 minutes 79. that threat for thunderstorms increases tomorrow and the

was at 10:30 p.m. when neighbors first heard what sounded like an explosion at bird street. >> we thought a vehicle may have hit our building, it was that kind of an impact. >> but he looked and saw the fire and called 911, he went out side and heard cries for help, two women had gotten out with the aid of police, and he tried to get to the trapped man and the fire got hotter by the second. >> i went to where he was but there was a wall in the way, but it took some long to get him to come and the fire kept burning and burning. the building started to collapse and the first floor pushed into the basement. crews continued to search the rubble. his body was found and he was pronounced dead but though could

that is pushing up past michigan into canada at this point. over the next couple of days for us, we are looking at the jet stream up to the north and hazy hot and humid conditions, not just today but tomorrow as well. as we head out for the afternoon commute, it's hot and humid and by 7:00 p.m., it's 84 degrees, even at 7:00 p.m., it's warm and muggy and the heat is being turned up from there. a temperature of 74 degrees, with the ocean, sitting on the beach, feeling like 81. we watch the temperatures and sea breeze cooling off a bit. you see it's already feeling like 90 degrees in atlantic city. a front pulls through and gives us the chant foresevere weather, a slight risk through the entire region and winds are over 15 miles per hour, and that is the greatest concern with the heat and humidity.
