oner people came here today to keep cool. i'm nora muchanic, channel 6 "action news." >> all right the place to be. >> don't forget you can track storms, with the 6 abc storm tracker app, it gives you access to weather forecasts. well, an unwelcome visitner south jersey has residents saying, there goes that bear again. john rawlins is live in mount laurel where a bear was spotted once again. >> reporter: multiple sightings of that bear today. first it was apparently state trooper as long 295, that spotted him this morning and then residents south of the highway, in at least two incidences the bear took to the water and then he was seen wandering down suburban streets. >> this resident couldn't believe her eyes.

and trash should only be in secure cans and garage doors should be closed and don't stalk the bear. >> don't follow him and don't try to get selfies with him you'll create a problem. >> game officers have told us that in the past, that well meaning people can spook the bear or flush the bear into traffic and that could mean a bad outcome for the bear and motorists. >> great advice john thanks. turning to the situation in iraq now, police and hospital officials say that a car bomb in an outdoor market in a shiite district in baghdad killed three people and wounded 25. and more than 300 u.s. troops will getting into position to protect the embassy in baghdad. it's another sign of sectarian warfare that nearly tore the country apart in 2006 and 2007.

and there will be much more on the crisis in iraq coming up on world news with diane sawer, after "action news" at 6:00. back here a malfunctioning traffic light in chinatown is to blame for an accident that left four people hurt. the problem is this, the light at vine and northeast streets showed both red and green at the same time, that is where the ambulance and a taxi collided. david henry is live in chinatown with the latest. that traffic light has since been fixed? >> the traffic light is operating properly and traffic is stopping here at the intersection because the light turned red. here on the ground you can still see some debris left after the accident this morning. the light is operating properly but there are many lingering questions after that accident that landed four people in the hospital.

>> the condition of the two vehicles involved tells the story, the impact was hard, and neither one had the right of way, the traffic light was malfunctioning at the time, displaying both green and red in both directions, drivers are to stop when a light is malfunctioning. police are trying to determine if either driver stopped before going through the intersection. the driver of the ambulance and a passenger was admitted to the hop. the driver of the taxi and a female passenger were admitted. the ambulance involved was a private transport ambulance, a private driver for life star response, neither its flashing lights or siren would have been activated. there is no way to no how long the light was malfunctioning. because no one reported it. at the streets department was

injured two students on campus, the delaware charter high school held their graduation today. they have 60 graduates that are going to college. it was in january as an accidental shooting happened when one student was exchanging the handgun with a current student. now companies could be urged by the government to make their foods less salty. >> we know americans eat too much sodium. 1500 milligrams a day is optimal. but this is what the average american gets, that is more than double what the american heart association recommends, most of the sodium is hidden in our food. that is why the fda is considering issuing voluntary guidelines, asking them to lower their sodium levels, it could

the sea breeze kicked up and this is sky 6 hd looking at cape may where the sea breeze finally kicked up and the temperatures on the beach is 80 degrees, comfortable on the beach now. the core of this heat is over our region, philadelphia and washington and richmond and all temperatures are in the low 90s and the dew points are not extremely high and generally in the low 60s, and tomorrow the dew points are higher and keeping the heat so that means the heat index, the way it feels up into the upper 90s. it will feel more comfortable or less comfortable than today. for the core of our viewing area, all the counties of the i-95 corridor, with the heat index up into the 90s, we are not used to this heat so it's a good idea to take it easy and driven lots of water, it's good to have a fur coat and the cats
