"action news" was in philadelphia's lawncrest section, as firefighters put out hot spots. it is fire started on rutland street. a neighboring home this smoke and water damage.

the red cross said 6 people were offered shelter and other help. investigators are searching for what started the fire. police in bucks county quickly arrested a duo in a deadly hit-and-run accident. they are accused of trying to hide evidence in an effort to get away with the crime. dann cuellar has the details. >> reporter: rachel do you have anything to say for yourself. 32 melissa rachel and stephen pagano had nothing to say as they were led away to their arraignment in bensalem. >> we received a credible tiptoed one of our officers was able to follow up. >> reporter: pmplet agano -- pagano why did you try to hide the car police say pagano tried

to hide the pick up truck and took it to a location in philadelphia. >> they took it to a location in philadelphia where they did other things that we can't get into right now. >> reporter: at this point police had no idea how rachel struck the victim without seeing him and whether she was driving under the influence. >> at this time we have no evidence to approve there was narcotics or alcohol related to the investigation. >> reporter: judge brown ordered rachel held on $750,000 cash bail. pagano has been charged with tampering with evidence, he removed the license tag and washed it. he has been ordered held on $75,000 cash bail. dann cuellar channel 6 "action news." >> osha is investigating the death of a worker at a demolition site in south jersey. chopper 6 was above the scene yesterday at the site of a

former block buster a worker was crushed when a concreek wall collapsed on top of him -- concrete wall collapsed on top of him. another worker was hurt, and was taken to kennedy hospital with non-life threatening injuries. a 4-year-old child after a crash on atlantic city expressway. james dennis was pronounced at the scene. the two were among the 6 people thrown from a pickup truck when it hit the guardrail. the single vehicle crash happened near the farley service center. greater folder road bridge -- graterford road bridge will be shut down after inspectors found damage on the beam and concrete reinforcement bars. penndot close the the bridge as

a precaution. repairing or replacing the bridge may take a year or more. drivers will face a 2 1/2 mile detour. >> that bridge is out. it cannot -- >> that's bad news. >> it's going to be a mess and nightmare for commuters. >> last year penndot reduced the weight limit on the bridge. comedian tracy morgan continues to improve following the horrific accident on the new jersey turnpike earlier this month. morgan is out of the hospital and moved to a rehab facility where he'll continue his recovery. a spokesperson for the actor said he is showing signs of improvement, but has a long recovery ahead. morgan broke his leg and ribs, his friend was killed when a tractor-trailer slammed into their limo bulls. the truck driver kevin roper has

there's something for everyone. >> a brushfire ripped through a neighborhood outside san francisco. the inferno destroyed one home you see there, two other homes were damaged. 6 out buildings were lost. residents vac radiated safely. two interstates were closed until firefighters could get a handles on the blaze. >> flames devour a multimillion dollar yacht in california. the fire started while workers were on board. they are okay. the fire burned for five hours. damages are estimated at 15 to

$18 million. it's crazy how big the fire is, and how dark the plumes of smoke are. it's the start of summer. >> reporter: it's a great day to go boating and then i saw that. we have cloud cover south of the city, sunshine to the north. there's the view of cape may. we have fishermen on the beach. they are catching flounder and striper. temperatures will be nice and comfortable on the sand topping out in the mid 70s. that will be the flavor of the entire delaware valley a lot of area will top out in the mid 70s. 68 degrees in philadelphia. dewpoint, 48 that's nice and comfortable. winds are out of the northeast at 9 miles per hour. so it's an onshore breeze for the jersey shore.

good clip. harrisburg getting wet. if you're traveling on the pennsylvania turnpike into central pennsylvania you're going to see some wet roadways outs there. some of the moisture is holding it together and pushing it into delaware valley. this is chester county, chadsford west chester and downingtown, some of it is not reaching the ground. it's very, very light and pushing over to the southeast. the cloud line is running parallel to the pennsylvania turnpike. the lehigh valley is basking in gorgeous sunshine this morning. same thing for the poconos. everybody south of philadelphia, you're seeing shades of gray which will give way to a couple of spotty showers. here's future tracker 6 showing spotty showers not mounting to all that much same thing for the evening hours. as the low exits the coast, these clouds will drop and that will set up a gorgeous sunday as with sunshine and comfortable
