investigators are hoping surveillance video will lead them to the attacker. saturday night i'm walter perez and the big story on "action news" is a search for a rapist. he over powered the young female physician 19th and spruce early this morning as she arrived home. sken live in rittenhouse square tonight. kenneth, what's the latest on the investigation. >> well, walter, svu investigators are working to get the surveillance video out tonight. we're told it does not show the face of suspected rapist but it may help track him down. >> saturday night there was more caution in the air after rain of a-year-old woman on spruce near 19th you. >> hear about that. it's a rude awakening you really have to watch surroundings and know who is around you. >> svu says after 1:35 a.m. saturday surveillance showed a man on bike talking a young woman who was alone. he secured his bike on sidewalk

before sneaking up behind her. investigators say it appears the man didn't have a weapon but he strong armed the victim into a third floor apartment where he sexually assaulted her. >> my parents when i signed my lease this is where they wanted me to live it's the safest area in philadelphia. >> the victim is a doctor in university of pennsylvania. hours after the attack crime scene unit investigators dusted her fingerprints and carried out bags of evident from the apartment and retraced steps of victim looking for more surveillance video. those who live in the area say this is another reminder of burking dangers. >> i won't walk at night any more alone any more. i'll get a cap since it's summertime and i'll have a buddy always with me. >> the young victim is safe with her family tonight. police say she did not remember phase her attacker. at this point investigators only have a vague description of the suspect. 25 to 30-year-old hispanic male

and the action cam was on the scene of a deadly stabbing late this afternoon in philadelphia tioga neighborhood it happened here 1300 block erie avenue before 4 p.m. detectives say a 20-year-old man was stabbed in the chest. witnesses describe the suspect black man in late 20s wearing white polo and jeans unrunning north on broodz. >> there's new surveillance of a robbery suspect targeting businesss in west philadelphiach the video shows a man pointing a gun at the klrk 56 food market thursday afternoon. he shoved 200 bucks into dark colored shopping bag and ran away. meantime investigators say the same man robbed labelle pizza 5 and girard later that night and believe he's behind a robbery at robolla pizzeria last week. >> he's become more aggressive over the last couple days. we're worries he'll continue on.
