>> sunday night sarah is off. i'm walter perez. the big story on "action news" is breaking news. police are on the scene of a deadly crash involving a child. it happened along the 2100 block mount holly road burlington township, burlington county. "action news" reporter kenneth moton are aivd are on the scene. kenneth what you can tell us. >> reporter: burlington county police gave us an update a few moments ago a 9-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the hospital after a tragic crash as you're seeing live right now

this is the traijic scene at the intersection of route 541 mounts holly road and cadillac drive where police are still investigates what employed this three car collision. and here's what we know. around 8:00 tonight police say the suv was come ago cross route 541 on cadillac when witnesses say a green toy eat traveling southbound ran the relate and slammed into the vehicle. inside was a family of five including that 9-year-old victim. police say she and her family were crossing the highway to make thur way to the walmart shopping center when they were struckch the girl was thrown from the vehicle. she, her mother and her father and sister and cousin were all interrupted to lords medical center nearby where the girl was pronounced dead and family we learned is in stable condition. now after that s. v overturned it hit a silver vehicle waiting at the light. that driver was carry bryant and she was into the injured. we spoke with her family moments

surveillance shows the suspect following the young doctor and grabbing her from behind. police say he threatened and forced her inside her spruce street apartment where he beat and raped her. police say he left with the victim's keys and cellphone and without his messenger bag. when he returned with it he sexually assaulted her againch the victim spent the evening with friend at ladder 15 tavern sansom street before walking them to 1900 block of spruce after midnight. sunday night young woman walking down the same block had her guard up and walked in pairs. >> i was out and walking with a group. that do have happened scary it could happen to anyone. >> city council president darrell clarke and city councilman split down the middle of the block of spruce. clark is pushing for more realtime cameras in the city that capture activity on the streets as it happens. >> not suggesting another camera realtime camera would have prevented this. this is obviously a tragic event. it happens far too frequently
