over the scene here, we are learning that police reportedly stopped a septa bus at cotman avenue after someone fitting the trips of a bank robbery suspect was believed to be on the bus, this is the live scene from the scene and philadelphia police are investigating a reported bank robbery in northeast philadelphia, the robbery reportedly happening at roosevelt boulevard at the wells fargo branch. it's a busy scene and it is believe that a possible suspect was on this septa bus. he reportedly took an undetermined amount of money, a heavy police presence as police try to sort it out. as we get more information we'll bring it to you. a unite the methodist pastor defrocked for performancing his son's gay marriage ceremony.

kfc says two investigations showed that a girl was not asked to leave. but they say that they were asked to leave because her face that was injured in a pit bull attack was scaring the other customers and caused a worldwide outrage. kfc offered medical bills and the company says they will still donate the money. health check tonight, there is evidence that new 3-d technology could help detebt breast cancer and it's available at some of our local hospitals. ali gorman is at the "action news" big board with this information. >> reporter: adding imaging to mammograms was approved three years ago, they say it does make

a big difference when it comes to detecting breast cancer early and now they are proving the benefits. jennifer is no stranger to breast cancer and her mother and younger sister were both diagnosed and successfully treated for the disease. but -- >> when it actually happens to you, it's a little different, scarier, definitely scarier. >> she was diagnosed last march, a small tumor 8 millimeterers was detected by a 3-d mammogram and now the technology is used at several local hospitals, dr. sara at lutheran hospital in illinois, says they studied 2 and 3-d mammograms from patients across the country. >> we found that the evasive

are cooler at the shore compared to 10 degreed warmer once you travel 10 miles inland. they are starting to come back up in the 40s and 50s over the last few days, 57 in trenton and 57 in philadelphia, if you look to the west, and to the south there, you can see west of that arc, we are at 67 in wilmington and 61 in dover and wilmington and it's turning more uncomfortable out and that means more water vapor in the atmosphere and that will lead to downpours in the area late tomorrow night, how it feels tomorrow, area wide, the dew points are at least 70 degrees, it will feel oppressive tomorrow, and that factors in for the heat index, mainly in the low 90s tomorrow, satellite and radar, all the weather right now is moving in an arc from the ohio tennessee valley into northern new england and that is the general trend of where the

at atmospheric energy is riding with this system and all the severe weather, the good news for us is staying to the north here, and anywhere from pittsburgh to binghamton to burlington and we are quiet and maybe a scattered shower, much of the day tomorrow, at 5:00 you can see it's generally dry with the heavy action being up over the poconos into northern new england and as we go into the midnight hour, some of the downpours come through and a clap of thunder or two, you can see on the radar it's generally green and thankfully the severe weather is off to the north, the future rainfall totals are a half inch, you could get a quick inch or two in the region and the heart of the system, 1 to 2 inches of rain, tomorrow temperatures 88 degrees and humid again and late in the evening overnight, is the best opportunity for downpours that
