and beater and took her house keys and cell phone. >> he was employed at this restaurant as a food deliveryman and food preparer, he may have been finishing up deliveries when he spotted his victim a doctor from the university of pennsylvania, walking home from a tavern at 15th. >> this individual saw a young woman on the highway alone. >> police questioned garcia and several of his roommates, all illegal immigrants over the weekend and the ping of the stolen cell phone led them to the area were they all lived at a boarding house. >> he had several jobs. all related to restaurants in and around center city and south philly. >> reporter: jim, tonight immigration authorities confirm

a major drug bust operating in berks county, that ring is now out of business, they announced the arrest of 48 people during the investigation known as operation tourniquet, and that is sold cocaine and marijuana heroin and prescription medication throughout the county and they seized assault rifles and guns and other weapons, we set up a slideshow of the suspect's mugshots at 6abc.com. this is philadelphia police officer tamika gross of the 16th district, tonight she is facing criminal charges for allegedly encouraging her teenage girl to fight other youngsters as she watched. they say it happened several times since january of 2012, gross identified herself as an off duty police officer and promised that nobody would be arrested. she turned herself in this

morning. dietz and watson is a name almost synonymous with philadelphia. and a plan to expand the footprint, a family owned -- adding 158 jobs. lets go live to the current facility and david henry. >> the expansion has been rumored and they are true confirmed today by dietz and watson officials, they are rebuilding their burned out distribution center here in philadelphia instead of new jersey. >> we are happy to be in philadelphia. >> it's a family rye soonon of sorts, this is where the company began 75 years ago and 10 years ago they moved their nationwide distribution center to new jersey and last december it burned to the ground and officials in pennsylvania and new jersey went to work trying

to get the company to rebuild the center or rebuild. pennsylvania offers 7 million dollars in state grant and $7 million in low interest loans, the company says in the end it made more sense to consolidate everything near its headquarterers. governor corbett issued a video taped statement. >> it was a team efforts from start to finish, as a result dietz and watson will be a stable in this community for years to come. >> new jersey was terribly disappointed and understand the business decision they made and made sense with the other side in philadelphia. >> another 150 jobs will be add, most of those jobs will be filled by employees that worked at the site before the fire and

56th and woodland in swoest philadelphia is the epicenter of a big problem for pgw and at least 700 customers tonight. the gas works has turned off service in a 15 block radius because water got into a gas main and that is not a good thing.
