big story the independence day celebration. >>reporter:annie mccormick is down at the shore. >> the conditions are improving. we are showing you the clouds that are still over areas in south jersey all because of what was hurricane arthur as it moved close tour shoreline here. we are tracking the latest with the hurricane. it has diminished somewhat. the winds at 90 miles-an-hour. it's a category 1 hurricane. winds sustained at 80 miles-an-hour. it's heading northeast at 28 miles-an-hour. it stays away from our shoreline heading into the weekend. even though arthur is at the atlantic there is scare of high surf down to bethany beach and rip currents. the high surf advisory is
