>> many july 4th weekend events celebrating america's birthday wrap up today. >> nice day for it. >> reporter: saturday times two. yesterday was beautiful, today we're following suit. let's get you outside and show you what's going on. there are a few clouds out there, but they are high and thin and temperatures are shining right through. -- sunshine is shining right through them. it's comfortable, 82 in philadelphia. 80 in trenton. 80 in allentown, millville, 79. boardwalk in atlantic city, 77. sea isle city, not too bad, 77 degrees, satellite and radar composite, again, it's a smooth-sailing afternoon. high pressure starting to drift off the coast and that will allow the clouds to get in here tomorrow afternoon. from now until then we'll see high, thin clouds upstairs, that's it. yesterday we were up to 83

today, 86 maybe 87 that's about it. and again, low humidity levels. heat indices could be close to 100 degrees come tuesday afternoon. that means gusty thunderstorms and a half these could be severe come -- and a couple of these could be gusty. a southwest community is asking for donation to help people burned out of their home in a tragic fire. the blaze destroyed 8 row homes. four young children were killed in the fire, those who survived have little more than the clothing on their backs. beamy buckman is live outside christ baptist church. >> reporter: we're outside the church around the corner of the site where the tragic fire occurred yesterday morning and

throughout the morning people have been bringing bags and basket for the necessities that some of the families might need to the church. the pastor hope it is apartment of healing process here. members of the christ international baptist church stepped up right away to help the victims of the fatal fire around the corner from their building. they are collecting clothes and necessities. the pastor says he hopes in doing so those mourning the tragic deaths of four younger children in the blaze will find a measure in the comfort. >> in the midst of tragedy we see god's spirit moving people to respond. >> reporter: the four children killed in the fire was 1-month-old and 4-year-old brother, and 4-year-old twins. the children were members of the tightly knit liberian community

app stores. a fire in new jersey, the action cam found crews shifting through charred items on grand street. the flames spread to adjacent houses after 7:00 a.m. nobody was hurt. new at noon, a delaware man is behind bars accused of firing a gun shot toward police. 29-year-old stephen trivett was seen running from the scene, no officers were hit. he disappeared for several hours and resurfaced at his girlfriend's house. he faces several charges including resisting arrest. overnight a violent confrontation with a housing authority officer landed a group of men behind bars. the driver reported tried to hit the officer with the sedan. is this started at 8th and

south, the officer told the car to get moving, a passenger got out and aimed a gun at the officer. the driver and the others in the car were arrested after the police tracked the car to 6th street. someone broke into four businesses in edgewater park, burlington county. the first one happened at route 130 at 1:40. officers responded to break-ins at three additional businesses, major league auto lube and firestone tire store and crazy cow restaurant. it is unclear what they got away with. police plan to check surevillance cameras in the area. two people were rushed to the hospital after being involved in a crash on lincoln drive. belt. police are looking for the driver involved in a hit hit ann at the jersey shore. 16-year-old was hit on rio grande avenue in wildwood. he is being treated in intensive care add children's hospital in philadelphia. >> we were yelling for his name, yelling for him, he would like, he got kind of sombified [sic]. the passenger's side mirror was recovered from the scene. anyone with information is asked to contact wildwood police. a shark attack is putting people on alert in california. a the shark was trying to free i felt from a hook a fisherman had thrown into the water. the shark became agitated after

fighting the hook for a half-hour. a group of swimmers swam into the fishing line and was bitten in the rib cage. >> the shark jumped in front of the swimmers and then we started hearing some, like, screaming, loud noise or help whatever, i'm bit, we thought he was joking because this area never had a shark attack. >> the man was conscious and breathing on his own and taken to the hospital. he is expected to be okay. there's been 101 great white shark attacks off california's coast since 1950, 13 of them were fatal. overseas police have arrested a number of jewish suspects since the killing of a palestinian teenager which sparked protests and violence. and american teenager was imprisoned by israeli police.

killed on wednesday after he was abducted and set on fire believed to be carried out by israeli looking for revenge of the murder of three israeli teens. the policemen said he resisted arrest and attacked the police. his parents said he was playing with cousins at the wrong place at the wrong time. >> what did you say to the police officers who beat your son? >> why. why? why couldn't you just walk him there. why did you have to brutally beat him almost to death? >> reporter: so far there has been no punishment for the policemen in the video. israel justice department said they launched an investigation. as for the condition of his relief they will apply when the family leaves jerusalem on the 16th. >> adding to the tension in the middle east, palestinian

militants in the gaza strip has accepted up rocket attacks on southern israel. hundreds threw rocks near the home of prime minister netanyahu. the crowd held up signs showing the faces of the 3 israeli teens who were kidnapped and killed. many israeli blame hamas for the boys' deaths. a video posted this weekend allegedly shows the leader of the so-called terrorist organization. speaking in arabic he outlined a vision that emphasizes holy war during ramadan. isis groups have taken over several areas aerials of iraq. owe new york firefighters are mourning one of their own.

the 41-year-old became trapped while searching for victims. 100 firefighters were called to the 21 story building in brooklyn. ambellis was a 14 year veteran of the apartment. four people are hurt and dozens others hurt after boats collide after fireworks late friday night. one boater called for help that they were hit by another vessel and taking on water. 9 people were hospitalized, two died at the hospital. two others were found yesterday. investigators are trying to figure out what caused the accident. a 13-year-old wisconsin girl drove this suv into the porch of her own home, now police are trying to figure out why the teen was behind the wheel. legal driving age in wisconsin is 15. three other people were in the vehicle when it crashed. the teen's mother told police, the girl was getting a driving lesson, but officers suspect her

stepfather was drinking and asked the girl to drive. nobody was seriously hurt in the accident. new documents made public by nsa leaker edward snowden suggest average americans are indeed a partly of federal intelligence missions. the report claims when the government agency was legally spying on foreigners it collected information on ordinary users. half of the names collected belong to u.s. citizens. it did help identify u.s. computer network hackers and secret nuclear project. hillary clinton said she donated the speaking fees she earned from university over the year and half. some called for the return of $225,000 she served for speaking this fall. clinton responded to crivment by

by 9:30 tonight you'll see winds 58930 miles per hour along the coast. it will be a breezy afternoon. tomorrow we'll see a wind, as well. it will be warmer out of the southwest as this little air mass works out to sea and all this comes pouring out of the southwest. this is one of those southern high pressure systems that works west to east across the southern tier states it will set up right there it will increase the humidity and the heat over the next couple of days. let's go back here real quick. you see this little pocket of air right there, that's the same as what we're seeing right now. that's a comfortable air mass right there. him once we get past this, the comfort air returns once we get into friday and saturday and next weekend. the win streak continues for the weekends.
