philadelphia, find out how you can help. >> we return to the 90s as you go back back to work. accuweather is tracking more heat and storms later in the week. good morning, everybody, i'm matt o'donnell along with erin o'hern, tam is off, david is here and matt pellman is in for karen rogers. >> reporter: we have some breaks in the clouds, and we have rain up by toronto, this is in association with a cold front that will produce showers and thunderstorms tomorrow at the earliest. 75 degrees in philadelphia. 73 in allentown, 73 in reading. 70 in sea isle city and up the coast in atlantic city on the boardwalk. 73 by 6:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 75, fairly comfortable with humidity fairly low for now. as we roll through the day it gets hotter than over the

weekend and a bit more humid, 75 degrees, okay to get out and run errands if you're doing that early. we have a fair amount of sun, so matt pellman sunscreen important if you head to the beach or the pool. >> reporter: did you have a nice weekend? >> reporter: yeah, it was nice. >> reporter: here we go back to work and back to reality and you'll expect backups, right now we have slowing on northeast extension approaching lansdale. we had a disabled vehicle and in the darkness a tractor-trailer comes along and strikes the back of the disabled vehicle. this started around 9 midnight. it should be out of there at any time. for now you can exit and re-enter if you're heading northbound or stay on 309. coming off 476 on the schuylkill expressway, things are nice and clear in conshohocken.

roads are dry, no problems on 76 or i-95. but our issues continue in bear, delaware where a truck overturned, the action cam was on the scene in the westbound lanes of route 40, pulaski ohio, school bell road. you can see the contents of the truck, yogurt and hummus boxes of that stuff spilled on the way. go down 13 as you head toward highway 1. >> 13-year-old girl was shot in her bed, bullets flew in the streets. katherine scott has the details. >> reporter: matt we did get an update on the 13-year-old girl we are told she is in stable condition. the circumstances remain under investigation.

the shooting happened on haywood lane. two homes were hit by stray bullets. one home was on the corner of haywood and hathoway, the other was on hathoway drive. that's where the 13-year-old girl was. the intersection is closed off for the investigation. it happened in sicklierville, winslow, township. nearly a dozen shell casings were visible on the street. four girls were asleep on two bunk beds inside the home. a stray bullet struck a girl in the buttocks. she is in stable condition. neighbors say they are worried about escalating violence in the area. >> there's a lot of drama out here, i see cops out here trying to control it. obviously it's uncontrollable. i'm out here, i'm walking as well. that could have been my son, it could have been me, god forbid.

>> the camden county prosecutor's office is investigating this, as well as winslow township police. again, the circumstance surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> also new this morning, a man was gunned down in philadelphia's frankford section overnight. the shooting happened before midnight along the 1600 block of dire street. the victim's identity has not been released. the search for the killer continues. >> witnesses have come forward with new information built moments before saturday's fire that killed four children in southwest philadelphia. the exact cause remains under investigation. neighboring say they saw children tossing lit fire contractor, toward a sofa. the victims were identified as taj jacque, patrick sanyeah and twins marie and mariallah boawah. the girl's god mother attended a

memorial service for them yesterday. >> i said that's not my girls, i just saw them on wednesday. >> reporter: the christ international baptist church is collecting items for the displaced. the red cross is accepting financial donation. a can kitten found alive insidee burned houses is in the care of the red paw relief team. the organization is providing food and shelter for a dog displaced by the blaze. a cat and turtle injured by the flames have been reunited with their owners. there's a new terror threat at the height of the summer travel season. nsa is requiring passengers to turn on devices like cell phone, iphones or laptops before

boarding. if they do not power up, they will not be allowed on flights. "good morning america" will have more on the intelligence behind the threat and what it means for americans coming up at 7:00 a.m. after "action news." >> there are brand new images this morning of a tornado outbreak in the midwest. storm chasers recorded this funnel cloud, these funnel clouds moving through iowa. 11 tornados were reported in the state. the weather service will conduct site visitors today. there are various reports of property damage, but fortunately nobody was seriously hurt. >> any of that weather heading toward us. >> reporter: tomorrow around and wednesday afternoon there might be spotty storms, but no big line of storms. storm tracker 6 live double scan shows you we have nothing.

couple of issues to cover as we head through the week. it will be hotter an more humid out there today. we have the chance of a thunderstorm over the next several days before things settle down at the end of the workweek. 75 degrees, currently, comfortable enough with the dewpoint in the low 60s and winds out of the south, southwest at 11 miles per hour. satellite and radar shows you cloud cover out there, but is you saw on sky 6 they are thin and we have rain in association with a front that moving so slowly toward us, it will not be an issue until tomorrow. 75 degrees by 8:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m., 83 degrees, that's not bad. and then we get into the afternoon it will get more humid and obviously hotter. yesterday's highs 86 in philadelphia. by 2:00 p.m. we'll be above that at 89 and looking for a high of 93 at 4:00 p.m. and holding on to the low 90s by 5:00 p.m.

before sliding back into the upper 80 also. 92 in allentown, they will hit the 90s everywhere outside the shore. it will be warm and humid highs mid to upper 80s along coast. by noon there could sprinkles and showers, it does look like the best chance of showers or perhaps a thunderstorm is north and west of i-95 tomorrow. any storm that does hit will be fairly spotty, but where it hits it could be strong. that's the 5:00 view indicating things get choppy. things get out of here by 10 or 11:00 p.m. today's high, 93, hot and humid, but not oppressive. hot and stickier tomorrow, 94. most of the thunderstorms will be north and west of i-95. the fronts continues to slide to the south on wednesday of course clouds and sun, warm and humid, 87. wednesday any thunderstorms that pop will probably be south and

cover -- sightseers running for cover. people jumped out of the way to avoid being hit. it happened saturday at the wattington air show. officials claim they have the remains of sandy stiver and her sister martha who who were t seen in 1968. last october the corn coroner's office exhumed the bodies and dna identified the bodies. police say a woman was shot several times in the 600 block of north adams street before 10:00 p.m. last night. it is unclear who opened fire on the woman and why. >> the daily deal website
