in the news this noon a wedding crasher learns its fate for stealing from local newly weds and grinding crash cripples the northeast extension morning rushch the big story at noon is a quiet neighborhood rocked by gunfire overnight. a sleeping teen aimer was the victim of a stray bullet. hasler drive and sicklerville camden countych the teen aimer was shot while she slept in her bed. police are looking for suspects. katherine scott has the full details. a 13-year-old girl is in stable condition at the hospital. she pulled through surgery this morning and now it beginning to recoverch the shooting happened here on heywood lane and stray bullets hit two houses. one was here on the corner. the other was down the street on hathaway drive. that's where the 13-year-old was asleep home with her family. >> i heard gun shots, boom, boom, boom, and lady screamed and i heard my sister extreme i ran to get my mom. >> a few minutes before

15-year-old tony hudson checked on her 13-year-old sister ti a asleep on the bottom buvrping next room. 12:30 a.m. a bullet tore through the wall of her sicklerville home and struck tiya when she was lying in bed. >> my sister is crawling to me saying she got shot saying she was going to die. >> i said you're not going to die. >> two other younger sisters were also asleep at home. and the mother thought someone was breaking in until she saw her daughter crawling in the hallway. family friend larry johnson called 911 and applied pressure to tiya's wounds. >> it was chaotic at the time everything was happening. hearing the kids and trying to make sure everybody stayed calm and go through the 911 call. >> winslot township police and camden county prosecutor's office were on the scene investigating and collecting evidence. a woman in this corner home was hit by flying debris when a bullet pierced her house. she refused medical treatment on the scene.

us covered route 30 in delaware after a tractor-trailer lost control overnight near school belt road. the driver was able to kick out the windshield and safely get out of the truck. that truck driver was not seriously hurt. no word what caused the driver to lose control in the first place. >> fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire that killed 4 young children in southwest philadelphia. this is a view of devastation from chopper6hd in the 6500 block of gesner street. flames consumed almost the entire block early saturday morning. one-month-old taj jacqu and patrick sanyeha and marie and maria boawah died in the inferno. dozens are staying in shelters. john rawlinss will have a live update on this story beginning open "action news" at 4:00. >> the bucks koumentsy coroner

is turning over remains of sandra stiber to her family today. for 45 years her family didn't know the whereabouts of 14-year-old sarah and 17-year-old sister-in-law martha. they vanished from frank ford and kensington avenue in philadelphia in 1968. dna recently confirmed the remains were resting in a bucks county grave. the girls final moments remain a mystery. but authorities say both were murdered. and wedding gift thief joseph franzone junior will spend 4 to 8 years in prison. surveillance captured him in june last year river crest golf club upper providence. he stole thousands of dollars in cash, checks and gifts meant for newly weds. francone did the same thing lower pen in lower gwynedd and receptions in lancaster and chester county. >> the tsa is announced new security measures for u.s. bound passengers at some overseas airports. security screeners may ask you

>> a home collapsed here in cobbs creek row home collapse just in the past couple michbilitys you can see it looks to us as many as four homes here may be impacted by this. it looks like the homes in middle sort of folded inward on top of each other. medics are on the way to the scene now. it's unclear at this point if there's any injuries or if anybody is trapped inside. it looks like there on the left the firefighters are on top of the home trying to see if anybody is nth that one house there. but, again this is the 6000

block of spruce street in cobbs creek section of the city. crews are on the scene of a row home that collapsed here. actually a couple row homes that folded right in on top of one another. and the fire fighters are just arriving here on the scene as well to assess the situation. this has 6 8th and spruce here on our screen as well and fire sfiingters arrived on the scene and they're on the rooftops looking to see if anybody is inside. and any of these row homes. we know medics have been called out to the scene and they're now going to put up a ladder to put over these row homes to get a better look from aerial view. we'll continue to monitor this situation here on spruce street in cobbs creek section a building collapse and row home collapse here happening with just the past couple of minutes. we will bring you word if we hear of injuries or if anyone is in fact trapped inside. and of course you can always log on to 6abc.com for the latest information. >> and in iowa a tornado was caught on tape.

this say picture of just one of the 11 twisters reported across the hawkeye state yesterday. there were no reports of serious injuries or deaths. however, trees were uprooted and many homes were damaged by the twisters. and michigan, severe thunderstorms are blamed for significant damage to homes. and injuries to six people. >> and a lifeguard drowned yesterday while trying to rescue a swimmer off a southern california beach. 32-year-old ben carl sop was pulled from the water by fellow lifeguards after a frantic 90 minute ocean search he got knocked down by a large wave and drowned. the swimmer made it safely to shore. efforts to find carl sop were hampered by 12 foot waves. >> three israelis confessed to abducting and burning to death a palestinian teenager in retaliation for murders of three israeli teens. this morning israeli prime minister benia min kniten yahoo called the teenager's child.

plenty to soak up too. bye-bye fell fell a. >> it is hotter than it was over the weekend. a little more humid. after that we have a thunderstorm chance being reintroduced into the forecast over the next several days. noon, we're dry. 88 degrees. dew point 62 in philadelphia that's a little misleading most of our areas are up to the mid 60s and that's noticeable humidity winds southwest 18 miles an hour and breezy out. there it's a hot, sticky breeze and 88 in the city and 8 9 wilmington and 87 not far behind in allentown and 86 in wildwood and we're getting close to going as high as we'll go down the shore. satellite and radar showing could closest rain to the north in association with a cold front pushing in our direction. it's coming so slowly the first chance of rain we have tomorrow afternoon mainly north and west of philadelphia and that thing keeps going through and by wednesday afternoon we'll have afternoon popup showers and a thunderstorm mainly south of
