of north philadelphia, where a pharmaceutical delivery person was shot at a pharmacy, chopper 6 was over the active scene on ridge at 11:00 a.m. we go live now to david henry. >> reporter: this all happened at 10:37 this morning on the 2700 block of ridge, it remains closed here on the corner. the man driving the van was making a drug delivery when he was approached by a gunman and one shot was fired during the course of the robbery and the deliveryman was hit in the han in his index finger. this is a day care center next door and the surveillance camera captured a picture of the van going by and then a green sedan, coming down the street and parking in front of pharmacy in a black car there. a number of p.m. in the street

are stopped and stunned and looking down the street, and they must have heard the gunshot, and then a guy came down the could have beener and jumped into the parked sedan and drove away. the police are looking at the video, but the scarey part is there is a daycare center on the other side of the pharmacy plus this day care center over here, and we talked to the owner of the day care center. >> any given moment we have 100 children inside of this building, it's stressful that we keep the children safe. things just break out at any given moment. >> once again the police are out here continuing their investigation, you can see the crime scene is active behind us, all we see in the video is one man running to the car and they are looking for apparently a lone gunman that approached the deliveryman dropping off drugs here at the pharmacy,

fortunately he was shot but only in the index finger and he is in stable condition right now. david henry, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. more breaking news now, at least 10 cars were involved in a fender bender on i-95 in the northeast at 11:00. it happened in the northbound lanes of cotman, police have two lanes blocked off creating delays for drivers approaching the crash site. we are work to find out if anyone was hurt. >> the jersey shore was dealing with flooding, people were wading through high water as ocean and simpson, as heavy rain came through this morning. a flash flood warning remains for cape may county and atlanta county, right now. lets check in with david murphy with accuweather. >> we have one last heavy cell pop through sea isle city, some

heavy rain, and atlantic city seeing a diminishing rainfall at this point. we are watching cells, departing dover, coming away from the dover air force base, it's all of this stuff that caused the problem, the rain that is now off the coast. lets look at this developing, at 7:00 this morning, we were talking about how there were showers and thunderstorms down south and how most of the rain today would be in this direction. we got heavy hitting cells that came up, some of these were thunderstorms but the big of the issue was the drenching rainfall that came down from this. you get up to 11:00 this morning and more of this was forming and continuing to do training where one cell after another comes through the same area. we get a lot of problems down there and more pictures on twitter, this from gig my follower, in ocean city. it show a kayak going by her

house after the storm moved out. the flash flood warning is up until 1:15 this afternoon, this is from sea isle city close to atlantic city, including ventnor and margate. some of these put down 3 to 4 inches of rain this morning. this may come off the board a little board 1:15 and it may be extended if we get more cells. in the meantime, it's very warm out there. and still somewhat humid down the shore. if you see the dew points, higher numbers to the south and lower to the north, with the cold front coming down in that direction, easy to develop those heavy, downpour producing cells, the drier air is pushing towards the shore today and tonight. we'll have more on future tracker 6 at the shore and better weather coming in the

say murdered almost an entire family, six people shot to death, including four children, ages 4, 7, 9 and 13. >> i have not personally in 40 years seen a tragedy in one family that was so horrific. police say that ron haskell went to their home yesterday evening dressed in disguise wearing a fedex uniform, he kicked in the door and waited for the family to come home and then tied them up and started shooting. the only survivor of the shooting rampage, a 15-year-old girl shot in the head she still managed to call 911 and tell the dispatcher where haskell was headed next, saying he planned to kill more family members. we stationed deputies on the street and five minutes after that he comes driving up and he took off and police followed.

the left rear tire is flat on the car chasing him until he finally stopped in this residential cul-de-sac, after this tense three hour long standoff haskell surrendered. >> police say that haskell and his wife are going through a divorce and the victims are her relatives. a teenager accused of leading a drug ring on the main line went before a judge this morning. timothy brooks left the court in ardmore after leaving his preliminary hearing. he is accused of recruiting drug dealers in the operation main line project. the passyunk avenue bridge is reopen in south philadelphia after a shooting incident this morning. a security guard working at a nearby refinery heard gunshots

at 5:00 a.m. and called police, officers found 10 shell casings on the westbound lane of the bridge, they believe the bulletses came from a car and are looking to see if any surveillance cameras came from the area or the vehicle involved. pennsylvania governor tom corbett signed a new state budget into law, one week into the new fiscal year, at a news conference, the governor announced that he used a line item veto to strike $65 million for what the legislature designated for their own budget. and then returned to harrisburg to work on the budget system for newly hired teachers and state workers. from our delaware newsroom, police are investigating the murder of a 27-year-old man in wilmington. the victim was shot to death on the 100 block of east 22nd street late last night. officers found him wounded in

have sky 6 and can you see we are looking at center city and for the morning and now into the afternoon to some degree, we are looking at sunshine breaking through occasionally the clouds went out and then the sun comes back. temperature is 80 degrees right now, notice the dew point, we went on the air this morning and the dew point of 68, now the number drops to 62, the humidity that is so evident in the atmosphere. we think that number is continuing to drop and the humidity is lowering into the afternoon and this evening. winds are light at 8 miles per hour. high temperatures, the current temperatures are on or about 80 on the i-95 corridor, a couple of spots in the mid to upper 70s, down the shore it's recently rain and a little bit cool. but we believe these numbers will bounce back once the rain comes back a bit. future tracker 6 shows it may
