made to auction off the revel hotel and casino. they filed for bankruptcy for the sec time last month, and the hotel and casino has only been open two years, they have $472 million in secured debt but only $9 million in cash. the city council has voted to reduce the fire department staffing by eight. it removed $580,000 of spending. these positions are currently vacant and will not reduce response times or reduce fire safety. the state of delaware has fired its chief medical examiner amid a scandal of tampering with evidence. dr. richard calorie was terminated july 4th and the investigation is ongoing and the state is searching for his

replacement. he is accused of using public resources for personal gain. comedian, tracy morgan is suing wal-mart after the crash in new jersey on the turnpike, morgan suit accused wal-mart of negligence for not realizing the driver had been awake for 24 hours, that is a violation of new jersey law. they call the commute from georgia to delaware unreasonable and the driver survived and is facing charges, wal-mart has not commented on the suit. an autopsy failed to show what caused the death of the boyfriend of a glee cast member, bendick was the boyfriend of becca tobin.

the home and police tell me the cause of crash is still under investigation. >> in northeast philadelphia, sharrie williams, channel 6 "action news." the search is on for a roxborough man that slipped out of a home after a standoff with police, it's action cam was along the 1400 block of delmar street. the man was in a fight with a woman and then police responded and he ran to a home and barricaded himself insides. they found a gun in the house but the man was gun. police only have a vague description, a 45-year-old white clean shaven man wearing khakis. now yesterday a jury found rivera guilty of all 11 counts from first degree murder to burglary. >> i'm relieved that this man is finally going to pay for what he did to my son and my daughter. >> police say that rivera broke

into the victim's house on ware street and raped amber at knife point, she was just 12 years old at the time. when her 6-year-old brother, dominic ran in and tried to save her, and the killer slashed both their throats killing him. they are standing tall in the face of evil and she is a survivor. rapper meek mill was suppose to be on stage in washington, d.c., instead he is locked up in philadelphia. a judge senthe 27-year-old to jail for six months on a parole violation, that stems from a drug and gun case from 2009. an attorney for mills says his client was fenced on technical violations. prodation officers were not always able to reach him by cell phone. is he not taking the sentence
