welsh road party an 21-year-old man was stabbed in the head and a girl was stabbed in the stomach, both are in critical condition. a man's body was found lying on the street in north philadelphia and police are trying to figure out who killed them. "action news" was on the scene as police began their investigation on the 3100 -- 63600 block of warnock street. there are no suspects in the shooting. in delaware, police are looking for a man who hit a man and left him to die on the street. police say the 49-year-old man was crossing the road when he was hit in the westbound lane. the victim is in critical condition. breaking news this hour, a police officer in jersey city

was shot and killed while responding to a burglary at a walgreens overnight. reporter tony yates joins us live from the scene with the details. >> reporter: eva, nydia, as you can see jersey city police officers are gathering jersey city medical in honor of their comrade melvin santiago who was shot in the head before he could get out of his cruiser. police were spodged to reports of -- responding to reports of a robbery. he jumped a security guard, he took the security guard's gun. two police officers arrived, he never got out of the car, the suspect immediately opened fire. other officers responded with fire, they killed the suspect.

breaking news. a new jersey police officer was gunned down responding to a burglary. >> a brazen bandit beat up an armed security guard inside a store and took his weapon. he shot melvin assistanting go in the -- santiago in the head who was pronounced at the jersey industry million eye jersey city medical center. the officer is the first jersey city officer to be killed in the line of duty since 2009. >> a septa bus driver is recovering after being attacked overnight. the driver was assaulted near the intersection of lehigh avenue and 22nd street in north philadelphia.

passenger were on board the bus at the time of the attack, but no one as hurt. the driver refused to be taken to the hospital to be treated. police are looking for the driver of a white mercedes benz with p-a tags. a fight at a party led to two people being stabbed overnight. it happened on welsh road at northeast philadelphia. police say a 21-year-old man was stabbed in the head. an 18-year-old girl was stabbed in the stomach. both were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. so far police have made no arrests in the stabbing. a man's body was found lying on the street in north philadelphia, now, police are trying to figure out who killed him. "action news" was on the scene as police began their investigation here on the 3600 block of warnock street. the body was found at 3:00 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the head. so far police have to suspects for motives in the shooting. in delaware police are

looking for the driver who hit a man and left him to die in the street. it happened here on the 1100 block of west newport pike in newport, at 11:30 last night. police say the 49-year-old man was crossing the road when he was hit in the westbound lanes. the victim was rushed to christiana hospital in critical condition. two people in central pennsylvania face charges for throwing rocks from a highway overpass. one rock hit a car leaving a woman in critical condition. it happened thursday night on i-80 in union county. the victim and her family were traveling from ohio to new york city. one of the rock also hit a woman in the passenger -- one of the rocks hit a woman in the passenger seat. >> you never know what people are going to do sometimes. >> if something falls off, that's one thing, but someone throwing it at you, that's crazy. >> an 18-year-old and juvenile

83 degrees on the beach, probably dry, if you hear a rumble of thunder you high tail it off the beach. tomorrow, we see showers developing and gusty thunderstorms possible and this is tomorrow afternoon and evening in particular. the storm prediction center, the national weather services branch that forecasts potential severe weather has us a slight risk of severe thunderstorm anything that forms could produce damaging winds and downpours and hail and lightning. tomorrow and tuesday, too take cover from the storms. today, hot, humid, 90 degrees and severe thunderstorms can't be ruled out. and tomorrow, hot, strong storms and 91. if the front is strong enough we could see that on tuesday with strong gusty storms. wednesday, if there's anything
