the firefighters gave us an update on what caused this. >>reporter:gasoline was the culprit here. it focuses on the three houses. they got into the sump pits in the basement. they never know how it got there. may never know they say. what they found was gasoline. we are going to flush out sump pits with water. hopefully they will be able to stay there tonight without any problems. >>reporter:it was courtenay and matt logan that alerted a strong odor coming from their basement. >> it's not electric or gas. it's just bad. it's a bad odor. i have no idea how to describe

army sergeant bo bergdahl is back on active duty. he disappeared in 2009. he spent five years as prisoner. he's assigned to a base in texas. he will be available to the army investigators about his case. he vanished after walking away from his unit and expressing doubts about the u.s. mission. he was released in may next change for five taliban prisoners in guantanamo bay. they're having trouble with the metal casing and touch screens. of the scratch resistant surface is not up to par.

from doylestown. the one that passed into bucks county had strong winds and hail contained with that storm. that storm is small in size south of doylestown route 202 slides south of new hope as it pushing into mercer county. a downpour. no lightning with this. 4:22 west of norristown. a decent amount of lightning exton and parts of downingtown. as we close in closer six lightning strikes for this area. this is the hail mode. anywhere they are small and contained. one near phoenixville anywhere from pea-sized and up to quarters. 611 south of doylestown. a severe watch is in effect until 8:00. the potential is there for the storms to turn severe.
