live at the "action news" big board. adam. >> that is right jim. until the eight o'clock hour. it could linger beyond that. most of the area is quiet. it's warm and muggy. no severe storms at the present time in our viewing area. we are tracking a line of downpours with embedded lightning in between. the northern part of bucks near quakertown. it extends near reading at 422. these are slow-moving downpours and thunderstorms. releasing a tremendous amount of rain with the torrential downpours near hellertown. we are seeing rate was 2 inches her hour. because the heavy rainfall that is moving through the region that particular area of the lehigh valley and northern bucks county has a flash-flood warning until 8:30 in evening.

kensington section of philadelphia. they are investigating a discovery of a woman's body in a duffel bag on north 3r 3rd street. kenneth what is the latest there? >>reporter:jim, let me show you what we have. the body of the young woman was located near the police tape right here on this property. the details are coming in. the philadelphia police homicide detectives the hands of the 23-year-old victim were bound. she was placed in a trash bag inside of the duffel bag. the call came in at 5:00 a.m. the man discovered the victim's body on the 2200 block of north 3 street in kensington. they are trying to get a positive identification on the woman described as hispanic. her body was stuffed into the duffel bag and left near a vacant and boarded up home. there is not much happening on the street. it is near susquehanna avenue.

they spent the day combing through the scene as they look for evidence to figure out what happened to this young woman. >> he saw a human hand with that, he went and found a police officer. the police came and saw it was a human body. it went from there there are is tower that is unfolding over the next 24 or 48 hours. >> absolutely. we'll find out her identity from the medical examiners office will know the cause of death. >> we went out and wanted to see what was going on. we are nervous. the community is nervous at this time. >>reporter:also, another new development as you take a live look at the scene. two hours before the young woman was discovered here they found an abandoned car on south bambry street.

the family of a woman that was killed in wilmington made a plea for the gunman to come forward. crystal brown got caught in the crossfire of a gunfight. the 43-year-old died at the hospital. brown's mother spoke about the loss today. >> you took away my support system. you put a big hole in my heart. you put a big hole in my

family's heart. >> there were witnesses in the area. into one has come forward. police want the public to know that tipsters can remain anonymous. a former delaware pleaded guilty james bryan who once sat on collingdale's council was accused of taking the money from the electric cap. some of the thefts were in copper wire that he resold. he could get up to 35 years in prison when sentenced in october. a furniture store that was next to the scene has pleaded guilty to perjury. he was investigating the blaze in april of 2012 at the vacant warehouse next door. he said that he didn't know the opener.

philadelphia. 89 in millville. satellite and radar show where a combination of the heat a cold front to the west. that is what is sparking the downpours and thunderstorms. the cold front that brings relief in the form of the drier air is west of cincinnati. that is set to arrive here late tomorrow into early on wednesday. until then we have the pop-ups around the region through 9:00. and through midnight downpours. early tuesday morning we start off quiet. some sun a lot of cloud cover is littering the area. the storms refire again tomorrow ankle. the front is closer. this is at 5:00. the rush-hour spots could be wet. we have a jetstream that hopes to fuel the storms.

we have the training going on. we could see another 1 to 3 inches tonight into the day on tuesday. the shore forecast it's humid down there. much like today. 79 degrees at 11:00. by 3:00, a temperature of just 82 because of the southerly wind we catch it off the water. it's not as oppressive as it is inland. soak downpours and thunderstorms. again 87. early morning rain on wednesday. giving way to the sunshine. by late in the afternoon on wednesday you notice the drop in the humidity big time. as we get into thursday, friday, low humidity. nice days 83, 85. into the welcome back the humidity returns with a chance of scattered downpours and thunderstorms tthunderstorms.
