the search is on for two armed bandits that terrorized a family inside a local auto repair shop. and a train derails in the height of rush hour in moscow. and the big story is the cleanup after storms left cleanup in two counties in south jersey. the weather service confirmed the damage was not done by a tornado. in fact, straight line winds blew through, chopper 6 hd was over head, an hour ago, power crews were out working on downed power lines damaged by storms. a woman's suv was crushed, and gloria gay and her cousin got stuck outside in the storm, they thought about seeking shelter in

camden county and karen rogers is tracking new storms. >> the national weather service says 60 to 70 miles per hour winds yesterday. stormtracker 6 live double scan showing what is happening right now, here we can look and see no big storms at the moment, but we are starting to see hours filling in at the moment, there are areas of yellow just beginning here in pottstown north of 422, indicating it's starting to get heavier in that spot. the same situation to the west in lancaster, areas showing the heavier downpours, no thunderstorms just yet but on stormtracker 6 live double scan you can see how that is starting to take shape. here is the back edge of that cold front pushing through the area, we have showers flying up ahead and near the cold front we see the thunderstorms firing up that will head our way, the

national weather service continues the flash flood watch, we got over an inch of rain in parts of the region yesterday and we are adding more downpours on top of that. downpours are likely through the area. another big part of the story is how oppressively humid it is out there. the dew points are as high as 77 degrees right now, anything above 70 feels oppressive. so everything is so heavy and the thunderstorms are moving in and you have the potential for flash flooding from anyone of these storms, drefrnling thunderstorms occurring at any point through the afternoon and evening hours, and frequent lightning, these are dangerous storms heading our way this afternoon and we'll be here all afternoon helping you through it. >> all right karen thank you. lets switch live now to "action news" reporter, katherine scott, in voorhees,

camden county, she is surveying the damage from the last round of storms. >> reporter: pseg and township vehicles are all through here trying to clear this away. we have a pine tree that uprooted in this lawn behind my, and branchs that snapped off of this tree, and look across the street, several trees down in this person's yard and it ripped a hole in this man's home. winds were wild in voor hes. >> it was over before you knew it. >> but what will karg looked out of his home, this is the sight he was met with, this tree ripped into his roof. branches and limbs pierced his home and they covered the hole with a tarp and his braced themselves for cleanup

and repairs. >> i have spider cracks in the drywall in my house and holes. >> as restoration crews work to mend homes neighbors were out taking stock of the damage, the storm slamming these blocks and twisted metal and lines down and debris flung high into trees. >> it's crazy, i got up to take a look at it. people's roofs are gone. >> reporter: branches were hauled into wood chippers and trees were snapped nearby. andrew was clearing debris and helping neighbors, his son was insides within this pine tree fell in hi yard luckily away from his house. >> luckily it fell away from the house, my son was right behind it. >> back here live at the

tracker app, it gives you access to live radar and weather alerts posted for your area. philadelphia police expect to learn more in their investigation into a woman's death in kensington, "action news" learned that the victim was a recent graduate from the art institute, her family is coming in from out of state to make an identification. the body was found on north second street and her arms were banned with duct tape. a septa train passenger is facing weapons charges, investigators say he was carrying four butcher knives and four b.b. guns, a woman saw the suspect and notified septa police and officers tracked him using close circuit television.

philadelphia police need your help finding two brazen robbery suspects, this surveillance video shows two masked men as they tried to rob an auto body shop in west olney, police say that a 27-year-old man and his girlfriend and two young children were inside of the shop at 8:00 last night. when two men wearing hoods and masks entered the office. one forced the suspect outside away from the children where they struggled and the man was struck in the head with a gun. if you have any information you are urged to call police. turning now overseas in the continuing crisis in the middle east, israel has resumed their air strikes against gaza after a proposed cease fire was rejected by hamas. karen travers has more. >> so much for the cease fire,

karen is here with accuweather, and another round of storms, they are coming later this afternoon and this evening, stormtracker 6 live double scan when these storms hit this is the best place to see what is happening, live radar with our double scan. this is the street level view, reading, lancaster and allentown, they are peppering through the area but nothing threatening there yet. sky 6 is looking live at cape may right now, the flag is waiving a bit and i was checking with the weather service, a moderate risk of rip currents and there is an alert there.

lets check the current conditions, 86 degrees and very warm, look at the dew point, 70 in philadelphia and delaware, 77 and that means oppressively humid. we are pumping up the heat and humidity and feeling both out there. we are at a slight risk for severe weather in the entire area, because of the gusty winds and downpours and lightning expected with these storms that could come through our area. satellite 6 along with action radar showing no storms out there just yet, we are looking at showers, and can you start to see in the west storms beginning to take shape. cloud cover is impeding the storms but here is a different view of the clouds here. look how in south jersey and delaware we are getting more sunshine. i think those might be the places, you can see the storms ignite. future tracker 6 is timing this out for you. a bit earlier than yesterday, a line of storms are forming in

the area, and right through the evening drive time, getting some really good downpours with these storms, and remember we already had so much rain and that is why flooding is a concern. and then it doesn't disappear after that and the front is slowly moving, and i think even beyond 6:30 we'll see the cells move through, they could continue to produce these heavy downpours at times and that could last knew the overnight hours, including tonight with downpours in spots. it's a long time we are dealing with the rain at least, lets look at your commute, strong storms and humid and dropping down to the low 80s after upper 80s, watch for the drefrnch so humid with a gusty thunderstorm
