this noon, police identify a body found two years ago in delaware. the technology that finally cracked the case. >> and from the plane to the hospital, the severe turbulence that threw passengers out of their seats. but we begin with a developing story. a man has confessed to killing a young woman found dead in a duffle bag. david henry joins us live from police headquarters with details. >> reporter: they are meeting with representatives of the charging unit of the district attorneys office right now, putting the pieces together before formerly charging the suspect, he is identified as a 22-year-old man who lived in the same building as the victim. 23-year-old laura araujo was looking for a more permanent

place to stay after moving to this apartment building. her body was found and she had been beaten and strangled and her feet were and hands were bound. police have arrest aid 22-year-old man that lived on the same floor as araujo. police sources say he has confessed. a neighbor says he occasionally spoke to both the suspect and the victim. >> she looked very timid, not like she belonged this far down, i would think more on campus kind of young lady, very well spoken. >> her mother lives in new york and her father lived in oklahoma city. they both came to police headquarters yesterday to meet with detectives after the grim task of identifying her body.

>> she was a very selective individual, with the type of friends and people she related to. >> araujo recently graduated from the art institute of philadelphia and was about to start a new job at a hotel and moved to philadelphia from mantua. >> she was responding to ads about apartments in different sections of city. >> police are expected to hold a news conference later this after floob announcing the formal charges again the suspect. they were able to track him through his cell phone which he apparently left at the scene of the car fire and used at the scene where araujo's body was found. this will become clear when the police hold their press conference and we'll have more on "action news" at 4:00. >> david thank you. our coverage of this

vehicle and an suv and another suv collided here in north philadelphia, on cruise town road on rising sun avenue, people were treated on the scene and their injuries are not considered serious. the cause is still under investigation. police were called to the underground concourse for reports of an. plosion. it was not an explosion but a piece of malfunctioning equipment made a loud noise making people think there was an explosion. service was not affected. comcast is apologizing for the behavior of a customer service rep that would not back down. >> why is it that you done want the faster speed. why don't you want faster internet. >> why can't you just disconnect us. ryan block contacted comcast to cancel his service in california
