and then we'll see the sunshine around the delaware valley. that's the live view down in cape may. we'll pick up an easterly wind that will keep the shore communities cooler. highs in the upper 70s. very refreshing. 71 degrees in philadelphia. dewpoint, 54. they will stay in the 50s all day, that's beautiful for july. winds are calm, pressure reading 30.21 inches. temperatures to the north and west, pottstown, 64. slatington, 61. chester, 67 degrees. cinnaminson, 65. sea isle city, 69 degrees. the water temperature in the delaware bay is 79 degrees, that's just about like batting water a little bit cooler on the oceanfront. temperatures in the mid 60s. dewpoints anything under 60 degrees, we call it comfortable. you can see for the most partly we are at 60 or slightly below. either way you slice it's a

comfortable morning around the delaware valley. the numbers will drop off as the day wears on. we'll see an increase in clouds as the day wears on, as well. in thanks to two systems one toward pittsburgh and one off the coast of the carolinas, that one will pull north an run out to sea. and this will run north into new england. we're sandwiched in between the two, that means we'll pick up the clouds from both systems. they are high, thin, clouds, but the sun will shine through it, it will limit the hours you're trying to tan on the beach. 9:00 a.m., a lot of cloud cover, they will be lower and thicker. there could patchy areas of drizzle, maybe a brief shower in the morning hours before that clears. the heat comes in next week. this is typically the hottest week of the year around the delaware valley. right on cue we'll get a shot of hot air from the central plains.
