and we begin with breaking flus at this hour. an air algeria plane carry, 116 passengers and crew has disappeared from radar. the crew's last message asked air control to change the plane's route because of heavy rain in the area. the flight lost contact after 15 minutes after takeoff. there are reports that the niece of former dictator fidel castro was on the flight. mariela is an outspoken activist for rights in her country. she also received the international ally for lgbt award. and is the daughter of current daughter of dictator, raul

castro. now to the latest on the ban on flights to the gaza trip. the faa has lifted bans on travel into tel aviv. this shows israel's iron dome missile system intercepting missiles there today. this is the first carrier to resume service to tel aviv with a flight out of newark airport in new jersey this afternoon. for the very latest, lets go live to amy buck plan at philadelphia international airport. >> reporter: well, good afternoon rick, u.s. airways flies direct flights out of here in philadelphia international airport to the airport in tel aviv. and as of now their passengers are in a holding pattern, much like planes in a storm, because

the airline has not decided if they will resume service with tonight's flight. u.s. airways flies one flight a day from philadelphia to tel aviv. as of now that flight has not been canceled for tonight, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be taking off. airline spokesman says we are in the process of as he issing the situation and other factors will be considered, the most important is the safety of our crew and passengers. united has already resumed their flights to israel. the ban went into affect two days ago when a rocket thought to be sent from hamas hit a home near the tel aviv airport. the question remains, if and when plane dozen fly again, will travelers feel safe taking them?

have reports of heavy rain and hail in the area where the tornado hit. and from our delaware newsroom this noon, to teenagers are wanted for attempted murder. the dover police department says that the 19-year-old and 18-year-old stabbed a man during a fight yesterday afternoon on south new street. dover police are asking anyone with information about the suspects to call the number on your screen. prosecutors in camden county have announced charges in connection with a deadly hit and run. the victim was struck on 27th street on high street in camden, and he died in the hospital on tuesday, surveillance cameras captured the van in the crash and they spotted a van yoed afternoon and took the driver

meteorologist, david murphy is back now with a closer look at that forecast. sunshine is peeking out there. >> yes, in parts of the region, stormtracker 6 live double scan shows you we are saying good-bye to the showers mainly off the coast and pretty much off the coast in the last 10 or 15 minutes and the last of this was very light, things are improving right on schedule but we are dealing with a fair amount of cloud cover in our region but out to the west the sunshine is returning as accuweather predicted. the temperature is 76 right now and the dew point is down to 60, which is barely what we would consider humid and dry air is continuing to ride down on that north-northwest wind and it's bringing that dry air in and all the dew points continue to drop and temperatures go up. 76 in philadelphia, and 75 in wilmington right now and 77 in allentown and 75 in trenton and

73 in wildwood down on the peninsula of south jersey. and the breakup of clouds from philadelphia to the west, you may be dealing with cloud cover longer and i can't rule out cloud cover there as well. down in allentown less humid, and clouds giving way to sun and you are getting sunshine in the lehigh valley, 68 in the water off of atlantic city, and 88 is your high this afternoon and there are spotds off the new jersey and delaware coast where the water is actually in the low 70s, and humidity will be dropping as the afternoon going on and in some parts of south jersey it feels sticky and are you in the process of improving and the phillies play baseball against the giants hoping to win one. the humidity will probably drop during the game and that is the
