shooter this morning. >> reporter: "action news" spoke to his alleged wife she described an abusive relationship that he would try to kill her, she said he was violent and abusive and belongs in jail. >> reporter: he was controlling and very violent. >> words from the wife of richard plotts who asked that we not use her name. a massive police response to wellness center, case worker, teresa hunt, he shot and killed her. his doctor pulled his own gun and they exchanged gunfire. silverman was shot in the head and plots was shot three times. . he was physically violent and mentally abusive, i the many times he was in and out of jail, i never thought that he had changed from any of that. so i'm not surprised. >> investigators are trying to determine who shot the case

camper was starting to rock aicialghts, -- a little bit, and within seconds we went on our side and on the roof. i landed on the roof near the door. >> carpenter has minor back injuries. his wife fracture her hip. their children were not hurt. volunteer firefighters from delaware drove to virginia to take them christiana hospital. they were great parents. they would bend over backwards to spend time with their kids. >> we're all so hurt. we don't even know if this was really real. it is real hard. >> about 3 dozen other people
