avenue and west allegheny avenue. >> "action news" is live with team coverage, ali gorman is live outside temple university lehigh valley hospital victims are being treatsed at this hour. reporter vernon odom spoke with people that know the victims. and john rawlinss has the latest open the investigation. so let's begin with john at the scene of the crash in the city's tioga section, john. >> reporter: hi, rick, witnesses tell us that car-jacked car, vehicle was moving fast going very, very fast up germantown and lost control and swerved into a group of people selling fruit on that on corner over there. witnesses said it happened quickly and it was devr stating. >> time crossing der germantown the car i noticed 2 here. >> he was moving fast. >> very fast. >> tire marks open the pavement suggest the vehicle veered sharply left and then crashed into a small fruit stand on the sidewalk manned by at least one adult and three children karen

while driving at a high rate of speed, the vehicle lost control at germantown and allegheny and drove up on the sidewalk striking a 34-year-old female who is listed in extremely critical condition at temple hospital. her 15-year-old daughter, who was pronounced temple hospital, her 10-year-old son who was pronounced at the scene, and her 7-year-old son, who was pronounced st. christopher's hospital, also a 65-year-old female struck was in stable condition hahnemann hospital and 45-year-old carjacking victim is critical but stable at temple hospital. the five victims were out front at germantown and allegheny selling fruit from a cart to raise money for their church. the two suspects are described as one black male and one hispanic male. both in 20s.

water. and she happened to be there during the time of this incident. >> do you know how the car went out of control? what happened that led the driver to lose control? >> we don't know that we know it was driving high rate of speed. at some point the tire blew out they were probably trying to make the turn from germantown to allegheny and lost control of the vehicle and ultimately ran up on the sidewalk striking an your injuring those individuals. >> one at a time. >> will you be able to communicate their names. >> we have talked to her she's critical and stable and detectives are talking to her we've gotten skchy information about the doers one is blackmail one hispanic we're still speaking with her. >> is it clear who was driving. >> in begin when they forced their fwhi vehicle they had female carjacking victim driving at some point forced her into

the backseat where black male was driver and hispanic male was in rear passenger seat with carjacking victim. >> we don't know we're doing that. we have alerts at all area hospitals if anyone shows one injuries to contact the homicide unit and we'll dispatch detectives to that hospital. >> where did carjacking take place. >> 610 cumberland, 6 0 0 block of cumberland. >> the carjacking victim is real estate agent. she was out to show a property. person she was going to show property to showed up and as she was leaving to get back into her vehicle that's when she was approached and forced into the vehicle. we don't believe it was setup at all. >> she's never seen them before. >> did you have any answers on anyone providing video on the route. >> we have detectives running the root we believe the gun went

hour with breaking details on that carjacking and deadly crash in tioga today. a press conference just wrapped up a short time ago police headquarters and police say three children died after they were hit by suv that had about previously carjacked. we also know they're all the children of 34-year-old woman who is in extremely critical condition tonight at the hospital. >> as we mentioned tragic crash happened after two men carjacked a realtor 6th and cumberland this morning and sped off eventually slamming into a family at a fruit stand. >> "action news" reporter dann cuellar was at that news conference at police headquarters he has latest on conditions of victims and search for suspects tonight. dap. >> reporter: rick authorities outlined the details of this horrible tragedy. they say it unfolded earlier this morning 6th and cumberland where 45-year-old woman, realtor, had just shown a property to someone and was getting back in her car when she was approached by two men with guns who told her to drive. she was forced to drive at a high rate of speed through the

city before finally blowing a tire and losing control of her car. the vehicle crashed into a fruit stand at germantown and allegheny where a 34-year-old mother and her three children were selling fruit to raise money for their church. the mother is fighting for her life this evening. her 15-year-old daughter and her 7 and 10-year-old sons were all killed. a 65-year-old woman, neighbor of the family who was helping them sell fruit is in stable but critical condition. the realtor is also listed in stable but critical condition.
