of. down the jersey shore we're looking at the back bays of atlantic city, we can see low-level clouds and areas of fog and drenching downpours reported at this point. north of atlantic city, north of brigantine, actually, pushing through lbi and surf city and beach haven reporting drenching downpours. we're seeing cloudy to ground lightning strikes. storm tracker 6 live double scan all of this activity is pushed off the coast. we have couple of cells hugging the coastline from belmawr to cape may. as you can see 90% of the activity is out to sea. this will continue to push east. it's moving fairly rapidly at 20 to 25 miles per hour. notice behind there's not too much activity across the heart of the delaware valley. now, there's still that chance of a pop-up shower or thunderstorm during the morning hours. looks like the worst of it is pushing out to sea. surf city getting hit at this

sunny and pleasant, 83. thursday, sun and nice, 84. and friday, 84 degrees, are saturday, 83 degrees and chance of pop-up thunderstorm. >> we're following breaking news coming in from the action cam, four people have been hurt in a fire in northeast philadelphia. that fire started about 5:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of he elbridge street. those people not suffering any life threatening injuries. at least one person jumped from the second floor to safety, that man was taken to nazareth for minor injuries. a 7-year-old and 9-year-old girl and 65-year-old woman were taken to area hospitals for smoke inhalation. red cross has responded and will be assisting this family again. a fire hurts four people in the 100 block of elbridge street. we'll follow this story and bring you more information as it

starting at $319 a month. >> new on "action news," two brothers along with philadelphia police are being credited with rescuing an elderly couple from a fire in north philadelphia. the fire was reported before 2:00 a.m. on the 900 block of west huntington street. neighbors heard someone yelling fire. two brothers jumped into action and convinced the woman to jump from the second floor. >> i was able to break her fall and the only thing she walked away with was a scraped leg, that was a blessing. >> both the the mann -- the man and the woman are being treated for minor smoke.

>> a mother is looking for closure after her son was beaten to death in his bedroom. >> we set up a scholarship for michael. we had trees planted. at midnight on friday, june 22, 2012, police were called to the home on the 900 block of 8th street in south philadelphia. they found the body of michael fox beaten to death, police say he had been dead for two days. >> he may have known his assailants because there's no forced entry. >> reporter: the citizens crime commission is issuing a 1,000-dollar reward and the city is posting $20,000 for anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

we'll start out with satellite and radar. you can see the action east of the mississippi river seeing a lot of cloud cover and showers and thunderstorms. here's an area of low pressure here, this is what i am calling the game changer, once this swings through there's an unbelievably cool shot of air behind this. le you'll feel this tuesday, it will feel lovely with highs most sections staying in the 70s, in philadelphia we'll top out at 80 degrees, no reported delays in the major hubs across the mid atlantic and the northeast. same thing with the southeast, same thing everywhere east of the mississippi. it's quiet out there. >> sports now, the phils and d backs finish their series at citizens bank park. the phils let a game getaway last night. jeff skeverski has your sunday morning sports. >> reporter: guess whose back?

increments. over the -- we've had over 1,000 lightning strikes. surf city, west of harvey cedars you can see the reds that's the heavier downpours, we're seeing winds in excess of 35 miles per hour with the individual storms. so you'll see gusty winds with this as it pushes through. you'll see drenching downpours, as well. the next cell pushing out of absecon and moving toward brigantine, that will be pushing out to sea in 20 minutes or so. once we get rid of the morning activity, the afternoon won't be that bad, we'll have a lull, and sun and clouds, and muggy and warm high of 88 degrees, with the humidity it will feel like 90 in the city. big storms are possible tonight.

>> a woman who knows the pain and tragedy has reached out to the family. her loved ones were killed back in 2009. >> we share their pain. >> reporter: janice pertain knows what -- payne knows what the victims are feeling. in june 2009 her family members died under similar circumstances. >> they stole a motorcycle and there was a chase and the guy lost control of his car. craddock and rodriguez committed armed robbery and fled on a motorcycle. minutes cradock crashed into the home killing her daughter and her grandchildren.

we'll have showers and thunderstorms develop later in the day. millville, 74. sea isle city, 73. on the boardwalk atlantic city, 73. poconos 67. trenton, 70. dewpoints are the way we measure the amount of moisture in the air it's just about at the top of the scale right now. the current dewpoint in new orleans is 73. we're not too far off that. millville, 72, dover, 73. i often times use new orleans because that's one of the stickiest locations in the nation that and houston. all the activity is pushing east. we're seeing showers and thunderstorms hugging the coast, but most of it is pushed out to sea. we have scattered light activity across western portions of south south jersey and central and southern conveyer. beach haven, you can -- southern

delaware. beach haven, all this activity is rushing out to sea. it's moving east/northeast at 35 miles per hour. if you're loving in lbi or down for the day you'll see wind gusts 35 to 40 miles per hour in the next 20 minutes or so, drenching downpours and all that works its way off the coast. here's the wilder view on satellite and radar. we can see holes in the clouds across central pennsylvania as this cluster dives to the south and east, a warm front will lift through, it will be very soupy and tropical, once that complex pushes away we'll see the return of sunshine by midday, you get the two interacting that's the recipe for potential problems late this afternoon and into the evening. future tracker 6 this model is showing chance of isolate
