police, and where he carjacked the s.u.v. he abducted the owner, a female real estate agent. and jonathan rosa came to the roundhouse with mother and minister to tell of his role in the tragedy. his attorney said the 19 year old rosa broke down sobbing when he viewed photos of the three children killed. they were struck and tossed into the air by the white s.u.v. >> i just left him. he is in shambles and he literally cannot erase the image of the poor child coming over the hood of the car. it haunts him like you will not believe. >> and the child's mother, keiearra williams remains hospitalized.ild's mother, they were part of a group vending fruit to raise money for the church's community garden. the sex assault charges in this case pertain to what occurred to the real estate agent when she was abducted by the pair, or allegedly abducted by the pair and taken by the carjacking.

exactly what happened. there is also no word on any injuries. county line road is closed at this time between jacksonville road and park avenue. but as you can see, still very much a scene over there and bringing you more details as soon as we get them. one man dead, four other hurt after an early-morning shooting in the feltonville neighborhood. the action cam in the 4900 block of north front street where it happened about 12:30 this morning. police say all five victims were outside at the time, but they are not sure who started shooting or what set this off. the man who died was 20 years old according to authorities. the police have not told us his name. the other victims, a man, woman, and two teenage girls are expected to survive. and police are trying to solve a murder, a 22 year old man shot near 1:00 a.m. this morning on willow street in norristown. they are questioning a suspect and have not told us the person's name or the name of the victim. the latest on the violence

in the middle east and the latest targets in the attack, a park in gaza. at least 10 palestinians were killed today, including children. according to a palestinian health official, those kids were playing on a swing when the park was hit. this happened only a few minutes after the hospital in gaza city was struck leaving several founded. israelis and palestinians today trading blame for the strike. >> hopefully in we can make some progress, the people in this region who deserve peace can take one step towards that elusive goal by stopping the violence which catches innocence on all sides in the cross-fire. >> and again children were victims today. as kerry continues his push for a humanitarian cease-fire the obama administration is

defending him. and they say criticism of kerry can put the relationship between the u.s. and israel in jeopardy. but three weeks into this violence, and today children just the latest victims. shirleen? >> very, very sad, thank you. a fugitive task force and sex assault suspect in a shoot-out in new york city in the middle of the village near nyu as the police try to serve the suspect. the suspect, charles mozdir is dead. two federal marshals and a new york police detective were shot. they are all in stable condition. the police have not released the names of officers involved. dozens exposed to a mysterious chemical today during a hazmat situation in northampton county. chopper 6 hd over green star recycling in north hampton before 1:00 this afternoon. police say at least 30 people came in contact with the substance and it made some of them sick. five people went to the

hospital. hazmat crews are trying to make sure the area is safe. a huge tree fell across a road in delaware during this morning's storms and tied up traffic for hours. the actions cam was there and you can see the tree was blocking the way right there. no one was hurt, but cars had to turn around as drivers realized they couldn't get through. the power crews had to come to the scene because there was a fire hanging from a utilities pole into the tree. one of the downed trees in the region, but this morning's storms are out of here. the sun is back fortunately. >> thankfully. going outside to adam joseph for the first look at the accuweather forecast. >> quite a light show last night in the sky and early this morning. but those storms are way off to the north and east. and cooler air is beginning to push in. as we look at the numbers in the mid-atlantic you see warm temperatures along i95. 83 in philadelphia, 86 in washington, 88 in richmond. but very chilly air for july is

the crook stole, we turn to "action news" reporter, sarah bloomquist. she is live outside on the scene. sarah? >> shirleen this has just been devastating for the lighthouse community center here in kensington. they believe a group of people broke into the building and spent the weekend inside. left with things that the nonprofit needs to operate. food for the poor, art supplies, computers for children. even the classroom pets are gone. >> yeah, it is devastating. >> the staff of the nonprofit lighthouse center arrived to get ready for classes. they knew something was wrong. the vending machine smashed, they broke into the pantry and stole food. room after room items were missing or out of place. >> they went through every single room. every single room was opened up. if a door was locked, they broke the lock off. opened up every door, locked cabinet and closet. >> the thieves took four of the

11 pre-school computers and the classroom pets raised by the children were taken. rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs gone. >> they opened up the cages and took the rabbits. this is devastating. diagnosis -- discourages and devastating. >> they provided summer camps free of cost to hundreds. and provide meals for families and the homeless. >> and it is devastating that they are going to rob places that they have probably eat before. >> the staff believe those responsible broke this lock on the back gate and got in on the window, finding syringes from the alley. believing they were targeted by someone in the neighborhood they try to serve. >> it is hard that work going into secure and have the best experiences for our children and come in and say oh, my gosh

smashed his car. a huge branch on the deliver side happening in the 800 block of french town road in new castle around 1:00 p.m. >> it scared the heck out of me. i didn't know what to think. >> were you able to keep control of your car? >> i was and be able to pull off to the shoulder. >> and he walked away from the incident with a few cuts on his hand from the shattered glass. the windy weather could have been responsible from knocking it free from the free above. >> beachwood, ocean county ranked as having the worst water pollution in peaches -- beaches in new jersey. beachwood scored the worst with several waters samples with unacceptable amounts of bacteria. the good news, the state as a whole has the third-best beach water quality in the country. it will soon be illegal for minors to use tanning beds in the state of delaware.

"action news" at the american cancer society action network office in new castle as governor markell signed senate bill 94 into law. the measure not only bans minors from using beds, even with a rental consent, it mandates that the salons put up signs warning of skin cancer. and adam joseph with a closer look at the forecast. >> we are good to go for pretty much the rest of the week. maybe the end of the week seeing a couple of downpours but the humidity will drop big-time. a live look, a few clouds upstair. temperatures 83, and the dewpoint dropped back into the 50s and the drier air wofting from the west with wind sustained 22 miles an hour drying out the air. as we look at north beach haven, fantasy islands a few clouds in the sky there, 83 degrees.

south of the montgomery mall by the montgomery square shopping complex. most of the southbound lanes blocked, the right lane snaking around the accident scene. and northbound left turn lanes shutdown. if i was coming southbound on 309 i would bail for dekalb pike. and use that. and the nasty crash with the construction vehicle and sedan shutting down county line road by jacksonville road by famous auto sales. and street road or byberry. and remember, flashing yellow means proceed with caution, flashing red, treat it like a stop sign of the big picture, normal on 95. and start heading to the betsy ross bridge. and a crash on westmoreland avenue. and we will check it again in the 5:00 hour.
