"good morning america" will continue our coverage on the crisis in the middle east, that's coming up at 7:00 a.m. after "action news." >> it's 5:07. new from the overnight, new red light cameras are keeping an eye on drivers in abington township. they have been installed at three intersections called the township's most dangerous. red light runners will be getting a warning, but a 100-dollar fine will be imposed starting october 1. abington is one of 1 municipalities, where -- 12 municipalities where red light cameras are in use. getting ready for rain. >> reporter: yes we are, as we look outside, we have sky6 live hd center city r feels a little muggier though, versus what it felt like yesterday. 72 degrees in philadelphia right now. wilmington, 72. so it is a little bit warmer than the last couple of mornings and stickier, as well. 63 in allentown, 65 in reading,

68 in trenton. down the shore along the boardwalk in atlantic city, and sea isle we're in the low 70s. during the morning we'll stay dry, as we get toward the afternoon there's a possibility of pop-up shower or thunderstorms. as you look at this, you can tell obviously this is no washout today. there's a chance even into the evening there maybe a little bit more. musikfest opens tonight in bethlehem, but you have a good shot of being dry out there. le mostly cloudy with a spotty thunderstorm in allentown during the afternoon. 82. muggier than the last couple of days. on the beach, 69 and 72. i thought on your beach chair you're up to 76 by 3:00 p.m. a shower or thunderstorm can't be ruled out at times, not a great beach day, but not a washout, either. most people like to sit and watch the water, you can do that for a good portion of the day. most cloudy with a storm

possible. 82 degrees, winds are light it will feel more humid, 73 by 8:00 a.m., 79 almost 80 by 11:00, in the low 80s by 2:00 p.m., 79 by 45:00 p.m., high of 82 around 3:00 p.m. saturday morning there's a system to the south that is eventually going to push some rain through the region and there could be embedded downpours at times with this. the latest model runs wants to take this through the early morning hours and in the afternoon and evening there's much less going than just a spotty shower. we're looking at the best chance of rain in the morning and much less chance in the afternoon. saturday, clouds and storm possible in the poconos. it will be spotty, sunday, 73 a spotty thunderstorm around in some areas. for the weekend at the shore, a similar forecast humid with the rain on saturday, drying in the afternoon, 76 and possible thunderstorm on sunday, but by no means a washout.

495. that's the case this morning, southbound lanes back open in wilmington, delaware. that effects people with good timing with everybody heading to the shore. northbound is not scheduled to open for another two weeks, you'll have to deal with that at terminal avenue at this point, 495 shut down you want to watch for that, 12th street and terminal avenue. you want to take 13 or 295, southbound lanes open. let's go outside in a different spot, king of prussia, 202, quiet scene looking at the schuylkill expressway, all the overnight construction connecting the ramp, 422 the schuylkill expressway is cleared. we're looking good for your friday morning commute and dry. that's not the case for the evening hours for the rush. we have a problem, it's an accident at this early hour in salford at clump road, you want to watch for that accident.

collapse. fire officials say ten to 15 people were on the slide even though a sign said only one person should be on the slide. one student reportedly did have a head injury, though that student is said to be in stable condition. >> the phillies roster you will see tonight will look the same always yesterday. that's a surprise to many people who expected the phillies to move some high-salaryied to the trade line. they were close to making a few deals, but couldn't get enough talent in return. >> i am not disappointed, surprised there wasn't more aggressive i guess it's action. we're trying to improve the club, there wasn't a deal to be made that would help us do that.
