mid 50s for the outlying suburbs. it's milder, therefore we finish the day a little bit warmer than yesterday. satellite and radar composite not much going on, a little bit of patchy fog, other than that it's nice and tranquil out there. the citizens bank park, phillies take on the mets, 1:30 start time, slight humidity, but still comfortable out there. first pitch 86 degrees, the 9th inning 88 degrees, everything is tranquil over the next couple of days, this is a coastal flood advisory this goes into effect later this evening. it's for the ocean front and the delaware bay during the time of high tide. we'll see a full moon and onshore flow that will produce flooding issues. we'll talk about that and have cooler numbers in the seven day, eva. >> thanks chris,. police are looking for a gunman who quote tried to take care of business. he shot four people and three of

them were innocent victims. the shooter was called to wyoming in feltonville to settle an argument. he shot the intended target in the leg, as that victim fled, the gunman kept firing. two cars were coming down the street and one driver was hit in the head. >> inside his car was his wife and children, both girls, ages 6 months and 6 years that were in the back seat. thank god they were not hit. >> a bullet pierced the window of another car that went through the neck of a back-seat passenger. that same bullet hit another person in the back seat, as well. all four victims were rushed hot hospital. the bullets hit a home with the family inside. they are physically okay. police have two people in custody, they are not suspects, but allegedly connected to the argument that set all this off.

several witnesses are being questioned. detectives are now looking for surveillance video 69 shooting. here at the big board and this video came in overnight of a jet blue a-320 on fire in san juan puerto rico. 186 passengers were on board about to take off for new york city. the pilot noticed the problem and aborted the takeoff. luckily everybody on board was evacuated safely. one passenger describing the very scary scene to abc news. >> all of a sudden there was a huge bang, a boom sound on the left side. i looked out of the left side of the plane and i saw the smoke coming out of the jinl. people in the -- engine. people in the cabin, saw the smoke, some saw flames in the cabin. ful that's when people got up on their seats and began to scream and lose control.

my hat's off to the jet blue flight crew they kept everyone calm. at that point, the captain was able to save the plane, the impact of the explosion, the fire, the smoke, it was surreal. feather investigators with the ntsb are trying to figure out what sparked the fire. so far there are no educations that this is in anyway linked to terrorism. eva. >> president obama is in martha's vineyard on vacation, but before he left he talked about america's military action in iraq. the president said it will be a long term project that can not succeed unless iraqis form a government capable of keeping its nation together. four drones launched airstrikes on islamic forces. 150,000 people could be trapped

a new construction project begins tonight on the blue route, crews will repair and resurface deteriorated areas in lower merion township and radnor drivers will face weeknight lane closures from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., the project is scheduled to be completed by late september. our website will post more details on the construction locations. franklin field will be packed with a sellout crowd, for the eagles last open practice. a statue of chuck bedneric will be on hand with other eagles. the eagles played at franklin field from 1958 to 1970. the 2014 eagles are coming off friday's loss in chicago. >> #wed the two picks -- we had

dominating the pattern which will keep all this weather out here to our west. the overall pattern will shift and slide to the east, this system right here will hit the eastern seaboard. always it does so it will encounter the warm, soupy air, that will lead to the drenching downpours by the time we get into tuesday evening and tuesday night. here's future tracker 6, today looks good, monday, as well. tuesday we'll see clouds and increasing scattered showers. we'll struggle to get into the upper 70s and low 80s. the day is not a complete washout. it's tuesday night some of the moisture works in, you can see all the reds and maroons and all the darker shades that's where you see the heavy drenching downpours. the forecast models suggest anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of rain with the system. that will create problems in the

>> we are back at 7:17 morning, new information in the murder of connie murray. police say they are questioning a person of interest this morning. murray was strangled her body found in pennypack park on tuesday. she had gone out for a power walk. >> reporter: on wednesday, october 23 she and her kids were going to stay in and watch a movie. divine went to meet up with tanya hudson in camden. police were called to the scene for reports of gunshots. both divine and hudson were hit. divine died at the scene and wearing a bullet proof vest at the time. >> hudson survived, but according to spearman and divine's mother, she is not cooperating with police. whoever out there that know what happened that night, they pray they come forward because a life had been taken. >> reporter: the citizens crime

this hour. president obama is outlining the timetable for the new u.s. intervention in iraq. abc michelle franzen has more. >> reporter: just before the president hell -- helicoptered to martha's vineyard to play golf, he warned americans will about the new military intervention in iraq. this problem is radical army in northern iraq called isis. they are trying to permanent in a in a momently establish an islamic state. now the u.s. military has unleashed it's firepower with a barrage of f-18 fighter jets and drone strikes on isis targets. they include a military convoy heading toward erbil where some 100 military advisors are

the games. philadelphia police are launching an investigation into an assault in philadelphia's rittenhouse square. a man was knocked unconscious as the area's bustling night life was closing down. the victim was trying to help a group of women. >> reporter: central detectives back in it rittenhouse square scouring the area at the intersection of 18th and walnut. you could still see the blood at the scene at 3:00 a.m., a texas man was punched and knocked to the ground unconscious after he defended a group of women getting harassed from people in a passing car. the victim is in hanheman hospital with a concussion, contusion and fracture to his fails. >> i want appreciate anyone stepping in. at nighttime or daytime when someone is harassing you, you don't know what to expect. >> it's awful, someone would be afraid to help in the future.

>> reporter: saturday local visitors in the square reacted to the crime just as the busy bars and restaurants were closing. >> someone trying to do good and for whatever reason the person jumps in and knock the person out. >> reporter: police believe several people were in the victim and one got out of the vehicle and punched the victim. according to the authorities, that victim is expected to remain in the hospital until at least tomorrow. they are urging anyone with information to call central detectives. reporting from rittenhouse square, annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." >> a hero from camden county was welcomed home in a big way. neighbors holding flags cheered as u.s. marine corporal, andrew galinao just returned from a tour in afghanistan. to honor his service, august 9th was named in his horn in audubon park.
