becomes stuck trapping 19 riders in the area. the husband of a jocker found strangled in pennypack park has confessed to killing connie murray monday night. her body was found tuesday next to a cemetary. annie mccormick is live at the scene of the crime with the developments. >> reporter: warmth, connie murray's viewing is scheduled for tonight her husband will not be in attendance he is in jail on charges of her murder. members of the community say they are rallying around the couple's teenage dawrls. >> there's no -- teenage daughters, there's no celebration in the case, but programs the people who play and exercise in the area of pennypack park, a sigh of relief because there's not a predator lurking in the area. >> reporter: the announcement came afternoon today. police charged christopher murray for the murder of his

wife connie. >> after failing the lie detecter test he was confessed by detectives where he confessed to strangling his wife in the park. >> reporter: the confession came saturday evening. 6:00 a.m., tuesday, connie's body was discovered in pennypack park near her northeast philadelphia home. 9:00 p.m. monday she left with her headphones and cell phone to power walk. during the course of the investigation, police discovered connie speaking to her husband outside of his car. they melt at nearby park bench also that led to a domestic dispute and led to his death. >> there was a lot of aspects of his story that don't add up. >> they don't have parents. they are taken out of the picture. >> reporter: friends of the popular couple compress concern for the teen daughters and sell "action news" they are surprised

neighbors got into an argument and that's when a car pulled up and shot one of the neighbors in the leg. the gunman reportedly continued to fire off rounds as the victim try to to run away. under that hail of bullets three people in two separate cars were hit by stray bullets. investigators are questioning two persons of interest in this case. a woman remains hospitalized after she was hit by a car while crossing route 73 right there in mount laurel earlier this morning. it happened in front of a wawa there. authorities say the 18-year-old victim suffered serious head injuries. the driver who hit her did stop. the roadway was briefly shut down in both directions as investigators worked the scene. investigators say one of the drivers in this nasty crash may have been driving under the influence. two drivers collided two hours ago, two people were rushed to temple hospital. their conditions have not been released. the investigation is on going at
