business on snyder avenue near 7th street. firefighters are up on the roof trying to create ventilation and poke some holes to haven't this fire out. it break out at 5:30 a.m. so about 30 minutes ago, looks like firefighters have the upper hand on this, but we haven't received official word whether or not this is under control. once again, fire breaking out at the laundromat in south philadelphia. chopper 6 over the scene, firefighters taking care of it right now. >> we have karen rogers in for david murphy and traffic with matt pellman. >> reporter: good morning, we have a good looking start to our day. we're watching for a touch of patchy fog here or there, but not big concerns with that. let's look at satellite and radar, we have clear skies in philadelphia. the clouds are filling in to western pennsylvania and pittsburgh, we'll be dealing with that tomorrow.

jersey, john rawlins is live in vineland with the latest details. john. >> reporter: good morning, matt, well, this fatal hit and run was called into police at 9:00 p.m. they were called to the one thousand block of landis avenue in vineland. the report is that someone was struck by a vehicle, when they arrived they found the body of a middle aged mail. they have not identified the individual yet. they are having trouble locating the next of kin. they are having trouble describing the vehicle that hit the victim. they will examine parts of the vehicle that were left at the scene. this is a commercial strip there's quite a few businesses here, they are going later today canvass those particular businesses to see if there's any video that might give them some idea of the vehicle they are looking for. the idea they want to produce the photo of the kind of vehicle that was used in the hit-and-run

your high. we have a coastal flood advisory along the shoreline that goes into effect today you want to watch for that. let's look at satellite and radar, while we have clear skies here we can see the clouds are really thickening out to the west. as we take a wider look here you can see why, we have a frontal boundary producing rain to the west, as this front moves through it will trigger showers and thunderstorms, some of which could heavy fluff to create flooding issues. this is a look at future tracker 6 at 4:00 p.m., organ tuesday, we can see showers popping up here or there, not a big deal. at 9:00 a.m., this model showing us gusty thunderstorms or heavy rain in spots. you have to watch for that smlt second half of the -- in the second half of the morning commute. tomorrow a shower or thunderstorm popping up at any point. not raining all day, but watch what happens tomorrow night into wednesday, we see heavy rainfall

>> welcome back chopper 16 live over breaking news coming to us from south philadelphia. this is the 3600 block of south lawrence street and you can see that blue vehicle there with firefighters around it. we saw smoke coming out of it, this is down by pattison avenue near citizens bank park. it's in one of those empty lots. you can see firefighters on the screen there looking as if they are trying to get under the hood making sure they got to the source of the fire and everything is under control. chopper 6hd over the vehicle fire 3600 block of south lawrence street in south philadelphia. >> matt pellman has traffic issues out. >> reporter: fire crews were busy in south philadelphia, because they were battling the

laundry matt fire along snyder avenue. mckeen or mif lynn gets you around that. i-95 southbound direction scene of a crash by the walt whitman bridge. a little tough to make out, because the camera is bouncing a little bit, the vehicle is facing sideways with in the southbound left lane. you're seeing slowing coming away from the walt whitman bridge heading toward broad street. we expect things to be busy in that area tonight, as well, because we have a 1:05 phils game, during the evening rush all the people at the phils game will be heading home. you'll see delays on i-95 and the schuylkill expressway. this morning i-95 southbound by girard starting to see slowing there, 36 miles per hour. the off ramp from the northbound side to girard has reopened. him that was closed all weekend for constructioning. not open, wyoming avenue on the

john rawlins is live with an update. >> reporter: police in vineland were aletterred -- alerted at 9:00 p.m. that someone was struck in the intersection of delsea drive and landis, found in the road was a body found of a middle aged man. he is known to the people in the area, but they don't know him well. he has not been publicly identified and they have trouble identifying the vehicle, they got differing description from witnesses, some parts of the vehicle were left behind from the scene. police hope there will be surveillance footage from nearby businesses that will identify the car or truck that caused this deadly incident. live in vineland, john rawlins channel 6 "action news." >> john, thank you for that. new overnight fire forced three people out of their home in north philadelphia. the action cam found firefighters battling the blaze on the 2700 block of north

matt and tam, our friends are starting to join us along the schuylkill expressway. it's not awful as we approach spring garden street. some people are tapping their brakes. speaking of spring garden street they are going to start work on the bridges along spring garden over the schuylkill expressway and the schuylkill river and mlk drive they will be doing that project for the next year with restrictions 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the new paving project that starts tonight on the boulevard, northbound side going to work between 9th and adams avenue in the inner drive starting at 7:30, but this morning it's the inner drive southbound that's blocked because of an overnight crash at wyoming avenue. you're sticking with the outer drive, expect company as you do so and head toward broad and the schuylkill expressway. on the big picture we have
