overnight, protests turned violent again on the streets of ferguson, missouri. police responded with tear gas sending the crowd running. as civil rights groups protest the police shooting that killed 128-year-old michael brown and the lawsuits mount, the chief of police telling abc news his officer was hurt in the incident. authorities say either brown or his friend fought with the policeman before the shooting. >> his face was swollen so he'd rged a hehe cn hit or punched ot witheyheolyoe. eloca or d wneay open. it ricocheted and bounced back to him and i guess that, you know, got him a little upset. >> reporter: take a look at this exclusive video from the scene. there's the officer's suv.
