ut the .sct isde eaua i trden. pr mildg gerueioet nt sceos mployetheime. the aannouncement. the school district of philadelphia had been counting on a two dollar a pack cigarette sales tax for funding. but last month, leaders say legislators failed to reach a consensus on the issue, so they postponed the vote. the governor will advance the district $265 million, but the district budgeted that money and the superintendent said that won't resolve the deficit. schools is supposed to start on september 8 and what it will look like when it comes to class size and it's employees are some of the confess that they have.
