the little league world series. how fabulous would that be? >> it is a big day for them. >> yes, it is. >> it is a big day for them. big day for all of us. it's 5:30 on this wednesday august 20th. matt o'donnell is off. sharrie williams is joining us. let's go right over to meteorologist, david murphy. he says there could be some rain tonight and karen rogers has your traffic. good morning. >> right now the only rain we see on satellite and radar in that wide view is out by pittsburgh and ohio. here we're looking at a mix of clouds and sun building as we go through the morning and it is going to be rather humid. this rain out here will be pushing toward central pennsylvania including williamsport which is about where i drew the x and it could be that we get a shower or a thunderstorm in the vicinity of the taney dragons baseball game tonight at williamsport. we'll see whether or not it's enough to hinder the play. 72 degrees in philadelphia, 72 in wilmington, 66 in allentown right now. 72 in sea isle city. you'll note that all these numbers are a little bit milder than we were the last couple of mornings at this time. we were in the 50's in a lot of northern suburbs over the last couple mornings but not

today. and as we step outside looks like it will be fairly comfortable, a little warmer between six and 8 o'clock. low 70's is what we're expecting under partly cloudy skies and as we go through the day a mix of clouds and sun all the way. a little bit on the humid side, the way it was yesterday and 75 by 9 o'clock, 81 by noon and a high of 85 at 3 o'clock. any rain we see today probably holds off until tonight and is mainly in the northern and western suburbs. karen i'll have more on future tracker 6 plotting that rain tonight and another round tomorrow coming up. >> all right, dave, tracking the construction now. we expect it to be clearing out. looking live in southwest philadelphia, this is i-95 by enterprise avenue. if you're headed towards the airport you're seeing this drugs blocking the right lane -- construction blocking the right lane. looking at the big picture no big accidents around the area but we have an issue with the traffic lights so watch for them. thirty-fourth street and grays ferry avenue they're not working at this point but police are on hand directorring you around the scene so hopefully helping out with that one. new issue in montgomeryville.

a disabled vehicle on hartman road and regency drive. burlington bristol bridge the overnight construction has cleared. the traffic pattern back to normal now so that's good news. looking live on the ben franklin bridge, good here as well, no delays, no construction from 10:00 to 3:00 only two lanes will be opened in each direction and when they've been doing this it has been causing big delays oh watch for that if you're headed for the ben or anywhere near it. tam. >> last night clouds clashed again with police for the tenth straight night over the shooting of 18-year-old michael bran. abc news reporter tahman bradley is live with the latest. good morning, tahman. >> reporter: good morning, tam. the demonstrations were peaceful until around midnight when according to police, violent people threw bottles. >> come on. >> reporter: overnight authorities in ferguson again changed tactics trying to keep a lower profile hiding

tactical units but peaceful demonstrations got out of hand. >> all media you need to return. >> reporter: officers drew their guns and made arrests. >> the agitators, the criminals embedded themselves and hid behind media. they began throwing bottles. they threw urine on officers and that's what caused officers to take action and begin to make arrests. >> reporter: an outside -- and outside ferguson yesterday afternoon there was this angry demonstration after another police shoot,. >> no justice, no peace. >> reporter: officers in saint louis shot and killed a 23-year-old black man they say was coming at them waveing a knife. >> officer's safety is the number one issue. if you're the family of a police officer and somebody approaches you within 3 feet with a knife i think you have a right to defend yourself. >> reporter: today attorney general eric holder travels to ferguson to meet with community leaders and check into the investigation into the police shooting of 18-year-old michael brown.

local authorities interviewed the officer who shot and killed brown, darren wilson and a grand jury will likely start hearing evidence today. officer wilson's good friend who asked that we conceal his identity is now speaking out. >> darren's a good person and people have just immediately jumped to label him as a cold-blooded murderernd that's just not the type of person that he is. >> reporter: it's not clear how long it will take to determine whether wilson will be chargeed: the funeral for michael brown will be held on monday. live in ferguson, missouri, tahman bradley, channel 6 "action news." >> tahman thank you for that live report from ferguson. president obama is expected the make a statement today on the execution of militants. isis released a video that reportedly shows the beheading of captive james foley. the 40-year-old new hampshire native was captured nearly two years ago while on assignment
