jury. there's a lot of questions surrounding this about the saint louis county lead prosecutor, bob mccullough, else the son and brother of officers. his father was killed by an african-american man in the line of duty. he was criticallized for what has been -- criticized for a lot of things he has done, when they brought in the state police, he said it was shameful they didn't leave it in the handles of the local police. there's a pet -- petition 70,000 people said he should recools -- recuse himself? >> under most circumstances, if it was a judge, there would be an automatic recusal. there's too much, we are in a battle of perception. a lot of what happens deals with

perception, and it has become reality. the issue is one of trust. there are people that do not trust how the system has operated in the past. seems for the purpose of obtaining unbias unquestionable justice this is an opportunity for the leadership to say step aside, it's not mandatory, but out of a good faith effort, to quell this, i'll do that. there are many whole say he can be impartial, whether blah blah, the fact remains there are many people who have grievances, this is not something that just happened with this case, there have been many cases. they are unconvinced that there will change and the pursuit of justice will be pure. for the sake of securing peace and tranquillity it will make steps -- it would be best to step down. >> mccullough will not
