ategory or very young kids o ad ruck tone ofooa cshtirnt rth'rha tomorrorow i rgu tst i can see e queeziy headed towarn mills. again, the accident should be going before too long. speaking of the roosevelt boulevard, here's the boulevard extension by ridge avenue in east falls. headlights coming southbound toward the schuylkill slightly slow as you approach i-76. sun glare is going to be an issue again this morning. if you're bailing out getting onto the kelly drive heading into the city we have police activity by hunting park avenue in east falls. the good news is the drive is open. you can get by without too much of a problem.
6:10 am
mlk drive also looks fine and over on the schuylkill some of those normal slow spots just starting to pop up. 95 southbound definitely heavy by girard, 24 miles per hour. and we still have a work zone in burlington county, new jersey, on the turnpike southbound between exit six and five. left lane blocked for about the next half hour. still have the right lane blocked other ben franklin bridge headed into center city for that construction this week. just three lanes available but so far no big delays. matt. >> okay, matt, thanks. breaking news here. abduction, robbery, death. police have come across a convoluted and somewhat confusing story along the schuylkill river and it may turn out to be the city's latest homicide case. "action news" reporter katherine scott is live along the banks of the schuylkill where two people were found dead this morning. katherine. >> reporter: that's right, matt and those two people were found bound with duct tape, their bodies found along the banks of the schuylkill river. a third person is in the hospital with stab wounds and you can see this remains an active scene here along kelly drive. a lot of police on the scene
6:11 am
here. crime scene tape is stretched along the river bank as investigators look for evidence. kelly drive itself is opened. morning joggers are running by the police vehicles and the tv crews parked on whescene and yoe police vehicles that have converged. the crime scene is walking the river edge. the marine unit is on the scene. it started around 4:00 a.m. when police came across a partially clothed man who told the officers that there were two men in the river. the man told police that he has been abducted robbed and tossed out of a vehicle along kelly drive and that he had been stabbed multiple times. he told them two other men who were already in the vehicle were also tossed out. the man who spoke to police was taken to the hospital in fair condition and then the search was on for the other two men. they were found along the banks of the schuylkill bound with duct tape. the exact circumstances around this remain under investigation but you can again see this remains an active seen here along kelly drive with police, the marine unit, the crime scene unit

continuing to gather evidence here but again two people found bound with duct tape along the banks of the schuylkill river. a third person in the hospital in fair condition. we're live along kelly drive, katherine scott channel6 "action news. >> katherine thanks. also breaking here, two robbers spent only five minutes snatching $100,000 in cash from a philadelphia food distributor overnight and already detectives say looks like an inside job. the action cam was at the kawa food distribution center on the 1700 block of north delaware avenue in the fishtown section early this morning. investigators say the robbers posed as police officers to get into the building, then drew their guns and demanded the owners to open the safe. they were wearing surgical masks and gloves, stole the cash, then drove off. >> this food distribution center in the 1700 block of delaware avenue is not a very easy place to find if you know where it is. especially at night. and this happened at 2:15 in the morning. it's dark, it's very convoluted back here. so, there's always a possibility that somebody knew where they were going and knew
6:13 am
where the money was inside this property. >> during the holdup police say the robbers broke apart surveillance camera equipment in the building but there are plenty of other undamaged cameras in the area. witnesses say the robbers took off in a dark suv, possibly a chevy trailblazer. >> there's been a new twist in an assault and robbery spree against the elderly. one of the victims has died which could make the attack a homicide. three men are believed to have targeted 10 senior citizens throughout philadelphia since april. 43-year-old keith perkins turned himself in yesterday thanks to tip calls police know the names of the other two men on the run. they're 52-year-old ronald singleton who also goes by eric wilson and 28-year-old joseph donaldson. the victims are grateful for the public's help. >> i always knew there were a lot of good people but i never realized they were that, you know, caring and that's wonderful. >> a medical exam of the 85 year old victim who died will
6:14 am
determine if charges will be upgraded. detectives are investigating the deadly shooting of a 17 year old boy at a crowded park in north philadelphia. it happened during a basketball game at hartranft playground on the 800 block of west cumberland street. at least 100 people had gathered around the court last night, so there are many witnesses to the murder. no one else was hurt. police believe another teenager pulled the trigger. they're reviewing surveillance cameras in the area. and new this morning, officials in bucks county are searching for cemetery vandals who struck over the weekends. the incidents occurred at roosevelt and rosedale memorial parks in bensalem. police say someone set fire to american flags and destroyed veteran grave sites. this is the second time in a month that vandals have hit the roosevelt cemetery. >> 6:36 now. we're at the big board with today's plans to honor the taney dragons. the afternoon celebration kicks off at 2:00 p.m. the parade starts up at 20th and mark streets, heads over to city hall, stretches down broad street all the way to fdr park in south
