we may have more pop-up thunderstorms today. >> we have breaking news we'll show you right now, a fire that has stubbornly continued to burn at a roxborough clearance in philadelphia. firefighters have been at the award custom clearance since 5:00 a.m. pouring water on the structure with the flames emerging from the business. this is at ridge avenue and schurrs lane, this is a family-owned dry cleaning service. looks like it could be a substantial loss for the owners for this. , as the fire continues to burn and firefighters try to bring it under control. they have not been able to do that just yet. this is a story we're following this morning. >> we'll head over to matt pellman an karen rogers, i believe matt has details on the detours the fire is causing, too. >> reporter: right, let's go to karen, though. >> reporter: that's right, as you head out on this labor day.

the storms coming through, matt. le. >> reporter: we're thinking that the volume will look light on the area roads this morning, no traffic jams expected, but we have a bunch of issues for you to steer around if you have to head out on this labor day morning including high water in camden county along the white horse pike eastbound direction at flemming pike taking out the right lane because of the flooding from last night's storms. this is the vine street expressways moving the camera out a little bit from the benjamin franklin parkway. crews are blocking the off ramp from the vine westbound to the parkway police are out there, because of the made in america festival which is scheduled to continue until tomorrow morning. i wouldn't be surprised if they are able to get some of the streets open before then, but they say the parkway and adjoining streets will be blocked until tomorrow morning. that means detutors on a a bunch of different septa bus routes.

we're detouring around the fire along ridge avenue in roxborough stay with us on henry or many street in manayunk as alternates on this holiday monday morning. >> new at 6:00 a.m., a woman was shot overnight in philadelphia's olney section. the bullet hit her in the leg at 5th street and the boulevard. police rushed her to the hospital. the reasons behind the shooting and who did it are not known. witnesses saw a beige colored cadillac taking off from the scene. annual entire community in bucks county is in mourning. three sophomores from council rock south were killed over the weekend when they crashed in the poconos. >> reporter: the gray skies over council rock high school south matched those in the community grieving the loss of cullen keffer, ryan lesher and seamus

digney. the suv they were in crashed in wane county. >> one day you wake up and everything is good and by the end of the day, everything comes crashing down. >> reporter: state police are investigating the rollover crash and what led to it. the victim were in the suv with three other teens who were injured. ryan lesher who played basketball and soccer attended st. john's united methodist. sunday the church opened its doors for anyone who needed to talk. the youth pastor has known ryan's family for a decade. >> ryan was an awesome young man. full of energy and vitality. he loved god. >> reporter: the tragic loss spread on social media with so many in this tight-knit community remembering the young men. >> they were so young, i knew all three of them. i played basketball with seamus and ryan. i was shocked.

will stop at 6:00 a.m. revel opened in april in 2012. the casino filed for bankruptcy for the second time in june and has been up for sale. it's the second of three casino closing along the boardwalk. showboat went dark yesterday. trump is expected to close september 16. after 27 years in the business, showboat shut down for good, people flocked from as far away from florida to play a final game at the iconic casino. people snapped pictures of many friends they made on the job. the closure places more than 2,000 workers under among the rankings of unemployed. some have found employment within seizures entertainment network. >> anyone holding casino chips or tokens can redeem them at

in hd at the airport, we have ten miles visibility no problems with the visibility. in the lehigh area we have low clouds there. 74 degrees right now is the temperature. the dewpoint is 71. it feels horribly muggy. the winds out of southwest at 7 miles per hour. pumping in the warm and humid rare. the pressure 30.01 inches. we can seem the cloud cover we're stuck in for the morning hours for sure. we can see showers popping up. as you look at the flow out of the southwest we have more showers here or there. what we're not seeing is a line of storms that swept through yesterday. here it will be spotty in nature. a shower there, a thunderstorm there. at any point in the morning hours a couple of showers, this is future tracker 6's look at 1:00 p.m., you can see a couple of spotty thunderstorms around the region, later on in the evening hours, a few storms here

has been doing so for more than an hour, this is the award custom clearance on ridge avenue in schurrs lane in the roxborough section of philadelphia. the fire broke out at 5:00 a.m. for an hour and 16 minutes we've seen flames come out as firefighters do their best to put this out and bring it under control. they remain at the scene right now. >> luckily not a lot of people on the road this morning, because of the holiday, matt pellman will tell you about the detours that the fire is cussing. le. >> reporter: if you're one of the few if you have to get to roxborough this morning good point you need to use ridge avenue. that won't happen as you the firefighters are blocking the scene fighting the fire. so ridge avenue all blocked off in that neck of the woods. you might want to stay on henry avenue an easy alternate or main street through manayunk as alternates.

on the big picture you see not only that fire, but also the made in america festival still going on around the art museum. we have all the closures around the benjamin franklin parkway and adjacent streets and the ramp of the vine street expressway. they are scheduled to last until tomorrow morning. i think there's a chance they will wrap up before then, but until then aavoid the area around the art museum. you want to avoid columbus boulevard, 11:00 a.m., the labor day parade steps off. not a lot of construction on the big picture except on our good buddy ben. even throughout the holiday weekend, westbound side coming into center city they are blocking the right lane. an accident in delaware blocking the ramp from i-95 southbound to lei 1 southbound. it happened a bit ago, if you're coming exit at churchman's road to one southbound instead. >> members from conk from both
