closed today and the casino itself will be shut down by tomorrow morning. "action news" reporter sharee williams is live in atlantic city with more on the latest flow to a town already hurting. it's a sad scene there today, sharee. >> reporter: to say the least, alicia. it's been sad, revel has been faced with its own unique set of circumstances why it never turned a profit. as for came gaming industry here in atlantic city it declined dramatically in the last eight years after being met by competition from surrounding states that now offer gaming. of course, ref sell atlantic city's tallest building but it may also be the city's largest casino failure. it's game over for the revel casino and hotel. its name plate removed from the building. >> you have to be kidding me it just opened. can't believe this is happening. >> reporter: open only two years it was a financial disaster before the doors even opened. during construction, owners needed an additional $1 billion

there's no word yet on how badly the other three are hurt. police have not said who was driving or what caused the accident. walter perez will have more on the victims and community in mourning coming up tonight at 5:00. police in toms river new jersey arrests aid man on weapons charges and they say, he planned to attack a man because of an ongoing argument. police say 19-year-old william rodriguez vandalized a home on brenton harbor drive this morning while police were investigating they came across rodriguez and say he was holding a knife and had to order him to put it down three times before he finally dropped the weapon. they said he had come back to the house to use the knife on the homeowner. he's in jail on 30,000 bail. a fire forced people out of their homes this morning at a montgomery county apartment complex. the action cam was in cheltenham coventry park apartments coverenry avenue where a fire started 10:15 this morning. no one was hurt.

we're working to find out how many apartments were affected and how badly they were damaged. thousands of people spent labor day celebrating america's workers in philadelphia. the annual labor day parade moved through the city and this morning it was a chance for many workers to talk about the state of unions. "action news" reporter vernon odom has details. >> big labor on the march in philadelphia this morning all across the tri-state several thousand apd turned out for this traditional tribute to the union movement and tall accomplished over the years for workmen and women. yet labor finds itself under heavy attack from government and business community because of job cuts and management commands forgive backs. here's a view of union many leader that represents 'blue collar' employees in philadelphia school district. >> it's devastation going on in the school district due to budget cuts basically destroying the labor force. >> my father was union and uncle

>> here's the big board with a big hollywood hack attack a user on the popular photo sharing site for chen posted a host of pictures yesterday showing numerous a-listers in the nude. among them academy award winner jennifer lawrence who contacted authorities to investigate just who stole and posted the photos of her. which her reps said are real calling this a flagrant violation of policy. the 4 shan user claims to have more selfies and explicit photos and is4 shan offering to share them in return for cash. kate upston another victim and they intend to pursue anyone who illegally obtained the images to the fullest extent possible. how did they get the photos? seems they may have accessed some from cloud internet storage service. unlike lawrence and upton some say the picks of them are not

it's hot out there and some of us seeing downpours and thunderstorms popping up there. very scattered. we have a cluster that is pushing anywhere from frankford near riverside and right along the river in between pennsylvania and new jersey. south of trenton right now near florence and bristol getting hit by downpours and thunderstorms. these are moving over the same locations. we call that a training effect when they move one after another on top of the same localel communities. and as we slide to the south near egg harbor, mays landing, lower bank, parts of not only the atlantic city expressway and atlantic countsy getting a couple downpours. no lightning out of these. actually now there was one that popped out of that one and other parts of the shore communities stone harbor south see showers popping up even over the bay. it could be wet times ahead anywhere especially from stone harbor south right to the tip of cape may. but, most, folks at this point are off the coast anyway as they're prap wrapping up their

day. as we look at a number in philadelphia we're on the verge of 90. 87 in millville and 87 wilmington to be and 87 allentown and along the shore seabreeze in upper 70s. you factor in the tropical humidity and feels like 5 philadelphia, 94 wilmington. 101 dover and low 90s in level and it's higher humidity that fuels afternoon downpours and thunderstorms like we saw yesterday. speaking of that high humidity and the dew points when it's in middle 60s to low 70s where we are now it's oppressive out there and it stays there one more day tomorrow, and then we'll start to drop wednesday to thursday as we dry out the air temporarily because by the end of the week and upcoming weekend we go back to almost oppressive levels here as we approach the first full weekend of september. not feeling very fall like. as we look at satellite and radar front to the west with severe storms rocking through eastern parts of the great lakes and most of the energy lifts

a serious accident in north philadelphia sentence one person to the hospital today and it happened intersection of allegheny and glen wood avenues and that's where the car flipped and hit a hugh tillty pole after 2:30 a 56-year-old woman was rushed to temple in stable condition. no one else was hurt. the accident remains under investigation. >> peco crews spent their labor day repairing a gas leeng lee at a home in delaware county, the action cam was on scene near conel and radar avenues in yaden. that's where a residents called police, firefighters and peco to report a smell of gas before noon. local officials tell "action news" neighbors have actually been dealing with the odor for weeks. and the utility company confirmed there's been an ongoing issue with a service line under a home there but they maintain the area is still safe. peco says they will stay on the scene until everything is fixed. >> millions of americans who got away for the holiday, they
