81. she did so much up until she went into the hospital for a routine procedure where she she went into cardiac arrest. she did go to mount sigh knee hospital she was rush there after the procedure and went into cardiac arrest. it was yesterday that her daughter announced she died peacefully at the age of 81. she had many ties to philadelphia. she was a trail blazer for women in show business and comedy. johnny carson gave joan rivers her big break in 1965. their comedic partnership made their popularity soar. a riff between the two nearly ended her career. she had to work hard to rebuild her career even after her husband who produced the show committed suicide at the four seasons hotel in philadelphia. the emmy winning and

tony-nominated comedian reinvented herself becoming an author, she had business ventures and popularity on eentertainment as a fashion critic. she o made fun of the amount of plastic surgery she had. ties to philadelphia were not just a tragedy her daughter attended college at u-penn. her most successful business ventures was with qvc based in west chester. we spoke to a local comedian from mount laurel who had an tiewpt -- opportunity to open for the legend. >> no jewish jokes and no jokes about clinton. i'm just messing with you. >> she believed in us 24 years ago, when not a lot of people knew who we were. she has been a passionate

as we look outside, we have sky 6. we have fog down near the airport and areas of south jersey and there's thick, patchy fog down in the state of delaware. if anything, i think this looks better than it did an hour ago. it foggy out there, i want you to be careful of that, in case you're driving around in neighborhoods where there are kids at the bus stops. look at the documents. over 70. it's very muggy out there, i noticed it when i stepped outside a few hours ago. winds south/southeast at 3 miles per hour. we're looking at light winds out there. as we look at future tracker 66 we're looking at clouds and sun throughout the day. as we get into the afternoon, 2:00, 34:00, there's chance of pop up scattered showers.

it quickly gets off the board after that. just spotty stuff today be careful of that and keep your mind on it when you're out later in the afternoon and early evening. otherwise it's just a warm and humid day, be that's 89 issue for most of you. 72 by 8:00. 81 by 11. high of 89 probably around 3:00 p.m. high temperatures across the region are mostly pretty toasty. 87 in allentown and trenton, 88 in wilmington, only 82 down the shore, but more humid there, as well, as the rest of the area so no big difference there. as we take a look, then at the future tracker 6 view for tomorrow. this is a bigger impact day for us, most of the day will be dry, it will be humid with a mix of clouds and sun, by 7:00 p.m. saturday night maybe late afternoon and certainly in the evening we'll be on the look out for a more pronounced line of thunderstorms as a cold front comes in.

where these hit they could produce drenching downpours, and gusty damaging winds. i'm not saying anyone could see that. but there's a chance any given area could deal with that as the drops northwest down to the shore. eagles game is a different story, as the system gets through overnight saturday night into sunday morning. we have drier, lower humidity air and lower temperatures and things look real good for the eagles game. 1:00 p.m. start we're looking at a 76-degree kickoff and 78-degree temperature in the 4th quarter. very good condition for the eagles and jalg wires, hope of -- jaguars. hopefully better for the eagles than the jags football wise. today, 89 degrees, humid, tomorrow, still humid, high of 91 and you'll get those showers and thunderstorms coming through, some of them could produce damaging winds along with the downpours and lightning. sunday we see improvement, sun

the district-owned vehicles went up in flames last night at a depot on byberry road at woodhaven road. investigators are trying to determine if someone torched the school buses or if the fires were accidental. >> happening today president obama plans to hold a press conference from wales before he departs a two-day nato summit. british prime minister david cameron and president obama nudged the group to combat isis. nato general secretary said the global community has to stop the advances, but noticed that iraq has not confronted the group. a florida teenager is angry for having to wear a shame suit for violating the dress code. she came to school dressed like this wearing that skirt several inches above the knee. as a punishment she was forced
