allentown, 71. reading, 73 degrees, feels-like temperatures later on, it will be another hot and oppressive day. it will feel like 95 degrees late this afternoon into the evening. same number for trenton, 88 for allentown, 92 in wilmington and i millville, 92 degrees, these numbers are below heat advisory criteria. it's the fact that the heat and humidity takes a toll on the body. if you're going to be outdoors, stay hydrated. we have a cold front coming in from the west, that cold front interaction with the warm, soup air and we'll get thunderstorms flaring up. we'll have to keep a close eye to the lay radar and see how this plays out. hot and humid that's the call from accuweather a, heavy thunderstorms possible, 91 feeling like 96. tomorrow, once the cold front passes through, we get into a

completely different air mass, get a load of these numbers, 45 degrees in rapid city. most of the high plains are stuck in the 40s, that is charging east, arrives first thing tomorrow morning, perfect timing for the eagles game. it will feel fantastic for the tailgaters, it will stick around for quite sometime. i'll have that in the semp -- seven-day forecast when i come back in just a bit. action cam was on the scene, 4100 block of ogden street, a fire broke out in the house in the middle of the block at 12:45. when firefighters arrived at the found flames shooting out of the second floor windows. five people escaped on their own, a 6th had to be rescued. none of them suffered any injuries. there's no word on the cause of the fire. police in bucks county are looking for scam artiists who

allegedly scammed a man out of the thousands of dollars. kenneth moten has the details. >> reporter: at least are surveillance images of the men who conned a northeast philadelphia man out of the $14,000. investigators say friday morning the theives who had african accents approached their mark at this wawa on grant avenue. they felt it was unsafe to put their money in the u.s. banking system and wanted to show how easy it was. the victim's prize for helping. 20,000, but first he would need to fork over $14,000 of his own cash. >> nobody makes $6,000 in a quick turnover. >> reporter: the russian american who speaks broken english drove the con artists to different banks to get the money. the theives wanted more, so they drove to bensalem to parx casino where the victim got a sizable

cash advance on his credit card. investigators sail the man made their way down the street to dunkin' donuts distracted the victim and left him broke in the parking lot escaping in a white minute -- minivan. >> what we don't want is another victim tomorrow. >> reporter: police believe the suspect's african accents fake and the cane a prop. at the wawa where it started, customers hate to -- had a a loo say about the scam. >> reporter: bensalem investigators said they got fingerprints and dna from the car, if you know the men or the white van, investigators wants to hear from you. kenneth moten channel 6 "action news." >> a toddler is recovering in the hospital this morning after

falling from a window last night. it happened on the 900 block of bridge street in lawncrest section. the 19-month-old old girl was treated for a fractured skull and concussion and other head injuries. the toddler was rushed to saint christopher's hospital for children. she is in stable condition. police are investigating. police are investigating a crash that involved a motorcycle that slammed into a pick up truck. the truck driver was pulled over helping another person whose car was disabled on the shoulder. the motorcyclist crashed into the truck. a man and woman were taken to the hospital with injuries. a plane that crashed off florida was piloted by larry grazer, his wife was on the plane. he road for permission to lower

i'll have the details in the seven-day forecast in just a bit. >> we begin this half-hour with breaking news, the action cam is live on the scene of a barn fire in swedesboro, gloucester county. you can see the smoke pouring from the roof fertile green farm on the 900 block of mullica hill road. one barn has burned another damage is damaged. firefighters were hampered in their efforts to battle the blaze because of the lack of hydrants in the area. tanker truks were brought -- trucks were brought in from harrison lake to help douse the flames. no animals were hurt. we'll have more at 9 and 6abc.com. a metro county police officer and civilian are in the hospital after their vehicles slammed into each other. the action cam was on the scene at the intersection of delaware avenue and cooper street in camden. the collision knocked down the

traffic light. the civilian's car landed on a concrete divider. the injuries are not considered life threatening. in pennsauken police were called to a home on the 1900 block of 42nd street, after an argument between two neighbors ended in a stabbing. it happened at 1:30 when one man allegedly pulled out a large steak knife and stabbed the other man in the shoulder. the victim was rushed to cooper university hospital in serious condition, so far no word on what sparked that argument, and no word on any arrests. there's more trouble for atlantic city's casino a 4th is closing in the middle of month and now threats word a ifa 5th is having financial trouble. >> reporter: they are falling like dominoes, the revel closed on tuesday, the showboat closed sunday and there's word that the

south and east it will bring the cooler temperatures along with it. bismarck, north dakota most of the high plains in the 50s, omaha, 51 degrees, bismarck, 49 degrees, on the other side of the front it's 75 in memphis. you can see the huge temperature contrast. that fall-like air will push south and east over the next 48 hours. this stormy weather will stay across the central pennsylvania. in the delaware valley it's hot, winds out southwest combination of skin and -- combination of sun and clouds. later this evening, we'll see the thunderstorm system west to east. tomorrow, we'll see the high pressure take over, the winds shift out of the northwest cooler drier air seeps in from canada, lots of sunshine with a few high, thin passing clouds from time to time. get a load of the numbers here.
