monday night the big story on "action news" tonight is breaking news. a 17-year-old boy is fighting

for his life after shot in cold blood tonight. it happened on the 2400 block of west huntingdon street in north philadelphia. the teenager was shot in the chest and rushed to templer university hospital. this itemple university hospital. >> we know that eight of the shots were fired from point blank range. >> police have neither a suspect or a motive at this hour. >> there is confirmation of a huge hack attack against home depot. if you shopped at the home depot between april and september 2nd your credit or debit card information could we'll have been stolen. sharrie it would be the biggest data breach yet. >> that is the big concern

tonight, jim. in reference to this breach it is because home depot has 2200 stores in the united states. it's believed that nearly all of those stores may with are been affected. it appears that the magnetic strips on the credit card were swiped at the cash register. they are making a few purchases. she was all smiles until she learned that the giant retailer has been hacked. the nation's largest home improvement chain confirmed that the data systems have been breached. the number of credit cards exposed by the hack is uncertain. it is focusing on activity dating back to april. brian is president of a philadelphia-based software and security systems company.

theft services for those that shop here, jim. thank you, sharrie. a firefighter is recovering from smoke inhalation tonight suffering battling a house fire in fox chase. they broke out on the 900 block of griffith street. they don't know what sparked the blaze. this was the scene of the 4200 block of malta street in juniata section in philadelphia. a 42-year-old man shot his girlfriend's sister and his girlfriend's 21-year-old son. the gunman then shot himself. the woman died from a gunshot wound to the head. three teenagers are facing charges of beating up a mentally challenged man. a 13 year old and two 14-year-old boys are the suspects in the video. one the juveniles is in custody

healthcheck tonight. there is a health scare spreading across parts of the country. cdc confirm that hundreds of children in 1 11 states have tested positive for enterovirus. it is runny nose and then serious, whizzing and trouble breathing. the virus is spread like a cold and are stressing the importance of good hand-washing. firefighters in california are still struggling to control a huge blaze in the backcountry of yosemite national park.
