coastal flood advisory into this afternoon, minor tidal flooding at times of high tide, the first rounds of high tide and that's now through about 10:30 to 1 o'clock in the delaware bay and the state of delaware and 8:30 to 10:30 would be the best chance along the new jersey ocean front. you had it yesterday you'll have it again today. also a high to moderate risk of rip currents along the shore today, too and i'm a little more concerned because the weather is nicer and there might be more of an idea in people's minds to get in the water, probably not a good idea today. temperatures across the region right now are cool and comfortable. 67 wilmington. not as breezy as yesterday. as we head outside to catch that school bus this morning, between 7 o'clock and 8 o'clock still in the 60's. 66 by 7:00, 68 by 8:00 a.m. and this afternoon's high is going to be into the low 80's. looks like we'll be at 80 degrees by 3 o'clock. 81 is your high around 4 o'clock and you can see how we transition to partly sunny skies. more humid tomorrow with some nighttime storms, karen. details coming up. >> all right, dave, we've got

late running construction causing an early morning jam up. i-95 southbound jamming from the airport to past the airport here. we've got construction. should be clear by now but it's still out there. you can see the flashing lights with penndot blocking the right lanes on i-95 southbound so watch for this one. we've got an accident where a vehicle ran into a wall in the powelton village, 34th street and powelton avenue and a new problem here in montgomery county its a disabled vehicle here in north hills mount carmel avenue and central avenue. a new accident coming in in lower frederick township here, also montgomery county gravel pike near big road. now yesterday we saw jams on all your major roads. more and more people back to school, what tock work. not really happening too much yet. a handful of accidents but watch for a slower commute a little later on, tam. >> thank you, karen. thousands of recently laid off casino workers in atlantic city will get a little help looking for a new job today. but this job fair is coming as another casino says it's struggling to stay opened. katherine scott is live in our satellite center. she's got more details. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, tam. that job fair at the atlantic city convention center runs from 10:00 to 4:00 today. there are hundreds of positions to fill and these positions are sorely needed. employers including wawa and shop rite will be there today. over the last week or so, the atlantic city convention center has been transformed into a resource center for laid off workers, so people can get help filing for unemployment. thousands of casino workers have lost their jobs or are losing their jobs in the coming weeks. the area was already struggling with unemployment before the first casino closed in january. and now they're bracing for massive filings of unemployment benefits and healthcare coverage with closures of showboat and revel over the holiday weekend and soon trump plaza on the 16th. just yesterday, trump entertainment filed for bankruptcy again with executives saying the taj mahal could close in november unless it gets concessions from workers. it says reorganization, not

liquidation is needed. >> taj mahal is not closing so there's not going to be any unemployment that's surrounding the trump reorganization. >> reporter: and again, that job fair runs from 10:00 to 4:00 today at the atlantic city convention center in room 411 and 412. we're told there will be printers and computers at the job fair so job seekers can print out their resumes. we're live from the satellite center, katherine scott, channel 6 "action news." matt. >> they need the help. thanks katherine. dramatic police chase along septa's market frankford el led to the focus of the pursuit jumping on top of trains. septa police released this video of a teen trying to escape police on monday. they say he had tried to jump a turnstile at the erie and torresdale station. now police struggled with him and then the teen took off, jumped on top of an eastbound train and then jumped over to the top of a westbound train and look here, you see him dropping back down to the platform. he continued to run until police trapped him in an exit

and took him into custody. >> this is a bizarre incident and it's actually criminal because he could have got somebody hurt as well as hurt himself. this is just bizarre. i've never seen anything like this before. >> the teen faces a long list of charges. seven parents in philadelphia are suing the pennsylvania department of education saying it has failed to investigate alarming conditions in the city's schools. the parents say they have sent more than 825 complaints to the department during the last year documenting overcrowded classrooms and shortages in the nursing and library staff. and add they have received little response from state education officials. philadelphia schools started class on monday. district has made $32 million in cuts to balance the budget and keep them opened. >> it's 6:05 and new on "action news," a change for a historic shopping center in berks county. the building will be sold. it opened back in 1970 and the shops have long been considered the nation's very first outlet center.

vf officials say the property is under utilized. a develop forty three baltimore is expected to come in and add restaurants and housings to the complex. the outlet stores will remain intact for at least the next five years. >> a study led by an ivy league university offers more evidence that fracking sites in pennsylvania might be making people living nearby sick. maribel aber has our market watch report live at the nasdaq in times square. maribel. >> reporter: hey, good morning to you matt. people living near fracking wells are twice as likely to have upper respiratory and skin problems. this is according to a new study on fracking's potential health effects. 32 percent of people living less than a kilometer from a well had respiratory issues. compare that to people living more than 2 kilometers away where that's 18 and 3 percent respectively. that polled 180 households south western pennsylvania. apple debuted a new mobile payment system apple pay but with the wave of credit card

sun breaking through those clouds as we go through the day. might start out a little bit on the overcast side, though. 68 degrees right now in philadelphia, 67 in wilmington. up in allentown 66 degrees. cool and comfortable and 65 now at the boardwalk in atlantic city and down the coast in sea isle city. satellite shows you the clouds i'm talking about down in delaware there's not as much but over most of south jersey and philadelphia you've got them. we will see some breaks in the clouds as we roll through the morning and it will get brighter as we head through the day. 80 degrees is your high in allentown. sun mixing with some clouds. it will be warmer today than it was yesterday. and down the shore, not a bad beach day. on the beach we're getting up to 77 degrees with clouds giving way to increasing sunshine but in the water i'll remind you that there's still that will high to moderate risk for rip currents today so not a good day to go swimming in the ocean n philadelphia 81 degrees, clouds mixing with some sun, warmer than it was yesterday, winds not all that strong. we're going for a northeast breeze of six to 12 miles per hour. that's pretty light breeze. as we roll through the day,

this southbound traffic right here. you can see how jammed are you from approaching to past the airport southbound on i-95. it's all because of this late running construction. we have been following it saying they should be clear soon, should be clear soon but not clear yet and this is the back up. i-95 southbound right lanes are blocked. stay left coming off of the girard point bridge. you'll have lots of time to think about it because of the back up right there. in other areas of 95 you're about 26 miles an hour near girard. we do have a problem here and it's in powelton village, 34th street and powelton avenue. watch for an accident where a vehicle ran into a wall so look for that causing a little bit of a problem. also in gloucester city a new accident coming in to us. market street between greenwood avenue and 130 so watch for an accident there in gloucester city. so a couple of accidents going on right now. and one more. i got off the phone with police and they're telling 93 in oaks montgomery county egypt road near 422 a minor asked but out there nonetheless. they're hoping those cars can

speech tonight. secretary of state john kerry arrived a short some time ago in an unannounced vis to it to iraq. this comes ahead of the president's rare prime time address to lay out his strategy for battling isis. not only has the public become worried about the threat posed by isis but tomorrow marks the 13 year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. obama has been criticized for having what many call a timid response thus far in dealing with isis. we have learned that isis is now trying to recruit young women using social media and online videos. it is believed that as many as a dozen young american women have tried to join islamic radicals in syria. obama's speech tonight will focus on three major areas. the president will frame the threat posed by isis outline his strategy to address that threat and share new proposals

sun glare out there affecting that as well. let's update on a couple of accidents. the ramp from royersford to 422 eastbound we have an accident there but the one on egypt road near 422 is cleared. we had a few accidents out there this morning and one is still on gravel pike near big road. the accidents haven't really been on the main highways so much causing big problems but here or there we've had accidents. watch for that like this one where a vehicle ran into a wall in the powelton section there, 34th street. look for that. schuylkill expressway some slow speeds. we saw the slow speeds on our majors this week. really reinforcing that. 18 miles an hour westbound on the schuylkill near the boulevard. about 20 miles an hour on i-95 southbound near girard so some slow going there. gloucester city we've got an accident market street near greenwood avenue. so watch for a little problem there. tacony palmyra bridge is up as we have been saying so you might want to head to the betsy ross bridge instead. here's your live look at 42. that's your northbound traffic, about a 15 minute ride from the a.c. expressway to the walt whitman bridge.

>> we got kids out here. >> frantic parents called 911 when they heard shots fired from the field in wichita kansas on monday. police say the coach's wife pulled the trigger to protect her husband. an argument over playing time had escalated into a fight with the coach. everyone scattered when the shots went off. police say the coach ran to get his own gun and pointed it at several people in the crowd. another person was caught with brass knuckles. no one was hurt and no arrests have been made. >> police are investigating an attack on a young delaware boy who is confined to a wheelchair. 12 year old lequan mackey has cerebral palsy. he says he was exercising in his wheelchair when the incident happened. he says two boys jumped him from behind and robbed him. >> i fell something should have me am i looked back and they were shoving me into the sewer drain -- the storm drain and my wheel got caught and then the kid proceeded to punch me.
