meat shop arrived to find swastikas painted all over the windows back there. the incident has rattled this entire neighborhood. >> i pulled up and i saw that, and i was like that is really upset can. >> merle has worked in the hair salon next door for 30 years and she has never seen anything like this. blood red swastikas were plastered on the windows of kosher meats. he know what's hate looks like and the power of the swastika after they fled the nazi. >> this is such a shame, this is no good. not in america. >> detectives were on the scene this morning gathering evidence including surveillance video from nearby shops. this appears to be a one-time

in front of it. heavy rain in west virginia, not a whole lot out in western pennsylvania now, it gets closer to us and there is a chance of stuff popping in. will it be a lot or a little. part of the reason for that, the cloud cover, you can see it clearly on satellite. lots of clouds out there not allowing a whole lot of sunshine in, and what we like to see is some of that sun to break in, boil up the surface, and start to make things unstable. and when it drives to the east it has juice to work with, as you will. as we take a look though, we are setting the table for something, that is with the warm air, 80 in wilmington and we have a southerly flow that is increasing the humidity in the levels we saw yesterday. the heat index shows it's not oppressively humid, making it

feel 2 or 3 degrees warmer than the temperature. there is a bid of humidity out there and the air is a bit unstable. today's call, warm and humid conditions, clouds mixing with sunny breaks and a high of 88 degrees. we'll probably see a late thunderstorm or two. if we get sun to back out from the clouds look out because that could mean a few more of those coming in. one other issue, apparently we are getting enough of a flow today in the delaware bay, where there is another one of those coastal flood advisories, and it's only up until 4:00, that is when the high tide will be in the upper delaware bay and the tidal portion of the delaware river, minor flooding in those usual places, you don't want to put your car. the shore is not included in this. when we come back we'll have the full accuweather forecast. including the possibility of storms later tonight. >> thank you. stay on top of the changing

meteorologist, david murphy, here how with a closer look at the forecast, still kind of on the cool side, but warm enough. a little warmer and humid than it was the last couple of days. stormtracker 6 live double scan of course is keeping its eye out for some rain later on today. but we are not seeing any right now. as we look outside, we have an interesting picture there from chopper 6 hd you can see the cloud cover socking us in high enough to see the top of the skyscrapers but thick enough to block out the sun. it looks gray out there.

your temperature is up to 81 degree, it's beginning to feel warmer out there. and i'll point out the dow point is up to 67 and that indicates cooler air, with the thick cloud cover, you are not feeling the humidity. winds out of the west at 20 miles per hour it's on the breezy side today. upper 70s in reading and wilmington. 80 in millville, and low 80s at the airport in atlantic city. and down the coach along the beach. the last couple of runs of this model are backing off from the placement of showers and thunderstorms. as we get up to 3:00 some of this is going to the western suburbs, not all of that is substantial. and pushing towards the evening, a couple of lines are possible. as we get into the early evening hours. the issue is not the volume or

number of the cells, where one hits, and dealing with the humid air we are talking about it can give you an isolated heavy downpour. they are off the coast earlier tonight. the risk factor from this, where any of these manage to pop up. flash flooding is only moderate. it's a small chance, only if we got a small storm, that took longer to get past a given area, a moderate risk for strong winds, not of a severe variety. that is because any storm will push gusty wind ahead of it, we are not looking at hail or tornadoes this afternoon or this evening. muggy and humid, 81 is your high and there is obviously a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm, particularly the latest we go through the afternoon, the storms are hanging up inland. you are not looking at a bad day, 85 and dry and the storms hold off until tonight. in philadelphia, a high of 88

handle the suspension of former baltimore ravens, ray rice. and the former day care worker accused of abducting and sexually molesting a 5-year-old girl. the defense suggested there were others involved in the crime and the prosecutors say she acted alone. vernon odom is live outside of the courtroom with more. >> the jury got this case just after 11:00 this morning and they are now on an official lunch break until 1:30 this afternoon. the eight women and four men are examining the evidence in the case related to kidnapping and molestation. >> at age 21, defendant christina regusters is hoping her lawyer was able to create a reasonable doubt in the jury. prosecutors say regusters, a

former day care worker in the muslim clothing leading the child out of the school under the guise that she was the child's mother. the family has been in the court every day. >> my dad did stuff to my sister and myself. but is this the motive, no, it is not. i can't speak for my father or my sister's actions, i know that is not the reason and she is not the person that did this. >> the defense theory is that there are others involved in this heinous crime, that saw the victim so severely molested she needed surgery. they put on dna evidence and more including her laptop computer and more that indicated an interest in child porn. >> if convicted christina regusters could be facing many,

many decades in the state prison. >> vernon thank you. a homeowner fired shots at a person trying to break in this morning. it happened at 1:00 on the 1500 block of albert street. the suspect was not able to take anything from the house and it's not yet known if the suspect was hit by the gun fire. one person was hit overnight in a fast moving fire in philadelphia. this was the scene on the unit block of north 52nd street. the fire was inside of a store with apartments above it took firefighters 30 minutes to get things under control and the person hurt suffered smoke inhalation and was take and to hop in stable condition. the heat and humidity of summer are creeping back in and there is the possibility of storms later today. as we look live at sky 6 hd in philadelphia, the sun is breaking through some of the clouds and it will feel hotter as the day goes on.

lets get an update from david murphy outside. >> we are talking for the last couple of days how it's more humid and warmer, it really feels like all of the above. despite the fact that there are fairly thick clouds in place, take a look we are not the only ones dealing with thick air. you don't have to go too far south to get warmer. roanoke, virginia, is 83, in pittsburgh, pennsylvania, it's cooler because of a frontal boundary in the process of clearing through the areas and cooler air is mind behind it. all the rain is still to our west and we are rather toasty and humid. there is not a whole lot of shower activity to the west of us yet, we are looking at a fair amount of clouds and the potential for sunny breaks and if we get sunshine in play that will set the table for showers and a few drenching thunderstorms.

an early morning police chase ended up on the railroad tracks in delaware county, at 12:30 they tried to stop the suv for traffic violations and then the vehicle sped off. the vehicle left the road and ended up on the tracks at the landsdowne station, police questioned one person in connection with the incident and the suv was towed this morning and septa service was not affected. a convenience store clerk

out, the rain will bloom later in the afternoon we'll have a chance of pop-up showers and thunderstorms. last couple of runs on future tracker 6 have not shown you a lot. 6:00 it could make its way in at 5:00 or 6:00, not a lot of action but where we see these hit they could produce a drenching downpour. not expecting a whole lot of real gusty wind out of this, the storm threat is only downpours, and if they stay small, they won't last all that long. a moderate risk for flash flooding where they hit mainly on streets. and strong winds just a moderate risk of that, sometimes you get a burst of wind coming out of a heavy downpour, but with so few storms around it's not a big deal and low risk for hail or tornadoes. high temperatures across the

region, 82 in reading and allentown. close to that in wilmington and down in the 80s at the cost. the rest of the afternoon and evening, 87 by 3:00 and 88 degree high at 4:00 or so. 79 by 7:00 and down to 77 by 9:00, the later you get through this period, the better chance you get of pop-ups coming down through the northeast and northwest suburbs. phillies and pirates wrapping up a four-game set and phillies trying to even up the series. breezy and 79 and 76 in the ninth inning, a good chance they get the game in on time and they finish. no doubt about that. check out storm tracker later on with adam joseph and cecily tynan before you go to the ballpark. more sun and refreshing behind the front and highs in the upper
