their family after a terrifying crash. they were hit while walking home from school wednesday but they made a remarkable recovery. "action news" reporter eva pilgrim is live at the the scene of the accident where the story began. eva. rick a young brother and sister are now at home recovering after being hit by a pickup truck earlier this week trying to cross academy here in northeast philadelphia. >> we have six children six beautiful healthy children and we still have six beautiful and healthy children and i'm very very proud and happy. >> wednesday around 3:00 in the afternoon 11-year-old isabella and 7-year-old tristan or walking nrom school when hit by a pickup truck byberry road trying to cross academy. several people including two nursing students stopped to help the kids. one used isabella's phone to call her mom. >> as soon as they saw what happened to my children they ran right over to them and took care of them like they were their
