>> "action news" reporter dann cuellar is live in philadelphia tonight with the latest, dann. >> well, rick, police are still on the scene here at the corner north broad and park processing the crime scene. they have been collecting some bullet casings that fell on the sidewalk here from the shooting. this happened right across the street from kip charter school. the cool with 360 kids, grades 5 through 8 and this second shooting that broke out here today police say this one broke out shortly before 3:00 as kids were in the playground. kids hit the ground and stayed there until police arrived and took them back inside the school building. a number of park vehicles were hit by bullets and police could find no victims. they think this could be tied to another shooting here this morning where a man was killed. kids were not ayoued to get off buses until police gave the all clear. police believe this may all stem from some sort of drug war going on here in the neighborhood.

news." >> all right, thank you, dann. the reward is growing tonight for information on a gunman that ambushed two pennsylvania state troopers killing one of them. "action news" reporter chad pradelli live in wynnefield heights with the latest thon, chad pradelli. >> monica that reward stands at $75,000. state police hld a press conference a short time ago and new details are emerging about the shooting and investigators believe the shooter is pro efficient in weapon and he used 308 rifle and he could be from law enforcement or military and likely practiced with that weapon at local shooting range. they say he hid, fired several shots and then ran off with that weapon. shell casings were found at the scene. he may have an ongoing problem with state police there in blooming grove and he may have visited that barracks shortly before the shooting. >> corporal brian dixon's time and troop k bar mount barracks in philadelphia was brief a year. his fellow troopers say he made an impact.

it grew grew over the weekend. clusters of virus now reported in 21 states. now cdc cop firmed it in 6 states to be entrovirus 68. is it tarts like common cold but can get worse. so far there's no reported cases in new jersey or pennsylvania but experts believe that will change. so the best thing for parents do now is to stress prevention. make sure kids are washing hands. try tone courage them not to touch eyes, nose or mouth and stay away from others who are sick. and entrovirus 68 can cause serious illness for some kids especially kids with asthma. some have been hospitalized. but there have been no reported deaths. and in other infection news some doctors are sounding alarm again about over use of antibiotics this time with kids. they crunch numbers of antibiotics given from hospital and say 11 million of prescriptions given to children

trenton 69 and boardwalk in atlantic city currently 68 degrees. satellite 6 along with action radar showing here plenty of sunshine. if you look out to the west you can see that line of clouds and some broken showers that is moving to the east. that's a cold front that will be moving through in the early morning hours tomorrow. not a tremendous amount of moisture to deal with. the problem though is the timing. future tracker showing the showers will be here for the first part of the morning rush. rain in the morning. always slows things down for the morning commute. allow ca time in the morning. watch "action news" beginning 4:30 good news out of here before lunchtime. this is a quick hit of showers and again we're not looking at very heavy rains. this is what to expect for tomorrow it will be a damp morning rush we're looking at tenth to quarter inch of rain generally light rain and sunshine back by lunchtime and afternoon is looking really nice tomorrow. and actually rest of the week is looking beautiful. in the meantime tropics are

heating up hurricane edward maximum sustained winds 110 miles an hour it's a healthy looking storm. edward will be curving out to sea. this is what is known as fish storm. really no threat to any land. but big problems in the west coast. this is hurricane odil and odil came ashore as category 3 hurricane in cabo this ties strongest ever to hit the baha region and this is video out of cabo with maximum sustained winds 1 25 miles an hour. it cautioned damage and heavy rain. the problem is that all that heavy rain will move into new mixco and arizona on wednesday and thursday the same area that dealt with record flooding last week and flooding will be a big concern there. back at home tonight, no flooding. we well have showers developing late tonight. clouds start to roll in this evening. 59 in philadelphia. allentown 53.
