couple was attacked at chancellor. >> one to two suspects quickly were identified. just based on looking at them from their facebook profile to their age on the surveillance camera. >> the video was tweeted and it was taken minutes before the men were jumped at 10:45, this group of 15 people came on on the two money, ages 27 and 28 and investigators said that homophobic comments were made before the two were violently beaten and someone took a cell phone and wallet. then this picture surfaces. >> there was a tweet with a picture of the whole party, the people from the video and friends. >> quickly the restaurant was identified and a facebook search of who checked into that

restaurant on that night started matching pictures to the video. they learned that this night started as a get together from old high school friends in buck county. not far from where the attack took place. not everyone in this picture were involved in the attack but some of the suspected attackers are in this picture and people in the city are outraged by the crime. >> they should be able to go without anywhere they want to go without having problems or issues. >> the faster the news moves the more people affected by it and they will take action and make sure justice happens. >> now, pennsylvania did pass a hate crime law in 2002. that covered the lgbt community but the state supreme court struck that down based on a tech quality. legislation was reintroduced in 2009 but it failed to make it out of committee. we are live in spring garden,

"action news" reporter was live at the scene of the girl's fall, sara how did it happen? >> they investigated today and determined it was a tragic accident. the 8-year-old girl opened the screen of the bedroom window in the ninth floor apartment she shared with her 11-year-old sister and father. she was looking out the window and fell to her death. >> investigators spent the

morning investigating the window where an 8-year-old girl fell from the window. the screams of her 11-year-old sister could be heard throughout the apartment building. >> she ran screaming through the building, it's a tragedy. >> the 8 and 11-year-old sisters shared the bedroom while their father slept in the living room. they believe the screen was down when the children went to sleep and they believe the 8-year-old lifted up to look outside. it's unclear if the sister witnessed the fall but her screamed alerted the father. >> the father runs downstairs and picks the child up and awaits police, and we tried to get her to the hospital but the injuries were devastating. >> the child was pronounced dead at the hospital, the screen did have locks and the 8-year-old was able to open it up on her

the rank and file. these strike breakers have a shady record. >> they claimed they had to sign a five-day deal to land top knox replacements. the union and hospital management are in contract talks since april and progress has been slow, the union says the hospital is badly understaffed for years and they push for pay cuts and benefit give backs. >> some things suffer a little bit. a patient may have to wait an extra 10 mines to half hour to get what they need. >> how can you say a patient can get the same amount of care within a nurse has nine patients as opposed to five patients.

a suspect held up a grocery store with a banana. it happened in southwest philadelphia, from the surveillance video you can see the suspect grab a banana and stuff it into his sweatshirt and approached the counter and demanded money and cigarettes. the suspect escaped on a bicycle. we have been showing you our new camera, chopper 6 360.
