the north/northwest and that will cool us down today as temperatures are feeling chilly. 59 degrees in philadelphia. 51 in allentown. 53 in reading. 55 in wilmington, 60s down the shore, cooler in some spots than it was yesterday. as we head outside to start the car or catch the bus, 56 by 6 and 58 by 8:00 a.m. clear and cool. staying cool this afternoon, 56 by 9:00 a.m., 66 by noon, 70 degrees by 3:00 p.m. we'll see a high of 71 that will come in around 3:30. back to the upper 60s by 6:00 p.m. we're looking at a big time warmup for the weekend, karen. we'll get to that a couple of minutes. >> reporter: the big traffic story is the kensington warehouse fire we've been talking about. it's centered around american street and west york street. you want to expect delays and fire cruise on 3rd and

cumberland, dauphin, as well. stay several blocks away, stick to 5th and lehigh all good options for you. it's likely they will be out of here for a while, even though the fire is under control. no problems on the blue route, the schuylkill expressway or i-95. 422, overnight construction is cleared no delays coming from phoenixville or oaks. the traffic story is in kensington with the fire, tam. >> we're following breaking news. it's been a night of chaos in kensington, the fire went to four-alarms and caused injuries. katherine scott is live at north american and west york streets. what are the latest details, katherine? >> reporter: we did get an update from the fire commissioner, he confirmed one man was taken to the hospital with the severe burns.

he was in the vacant building when it happened. two firefighters were taken to the hospital in stable condition with minor injuries. there's a lot of work left. you can see fire crews blasting water at this site, again, making progress, but they have a lot of equipment out here. this is what it looked like earlier, the flames were reaching far up high into the sky. there was the fear of spreading. the fire started at 2:30 and quickly gained speed in kensington. the fire started in a vacant commercial building that building collapsed according to the fire commissioner. that exposed a paper storage facility next-door. given it was a paper storage facility there was a lot of fuel for the fire. it was hot and burned and spread quickly. a lot of fire crews were called in at 4th and american. 33 apparatus and 120 firefighters on the scene here. there is a third company o

corner where -- on the corner where firefighters are right now. there is some damage to it. the bulk of the damage, after that injury, firefighters believed the injured man was in that first vacant building when he was injured and when he arrived he was running out of the it, he was taken to the hospital with severe burns. again, we're waiting to hear how he is doing, we we know he is in serious condition. two firefighters in stable condition. the fire was placed under control at 4:12 a.m. avoid this area if you can because there are a lot of closures, i know that karen was talking about that earlier, live in kensington, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you for that katherine. police have questioned two more people in the beating of two gay men. they do not plan to fire charges until they talk to the people in the surveillance video. the people they questioned say
