visibilities over the next couple of hours. satellite and radar shows cloud cover over the west of the city. we are seeing clouds in south jersey, morning clouds giving way to afternoon so, you know, a nice little breeze out of the southeast. lunchtime, 75. 5:00 p.m., 78 degrees about a degree or two above average. tomorrow we're way above average always temperatures skyrocket into the 80s. when i come back in just a bit i'll talk about the warmup on the way tomorrow and the big cool down on the way for monday. >> thanks chris. we have breaking news from northeastern pennsylvania there are reports that police may be closing in on accused cop killer eric frein who may be holed up in a home or cabin near his family's home in monroe county. police confirmed shots were fired in the area last night, but would not say whether they think they have cornered frein.

investigators told residents in price and barrett township to lock their doors and keep away from windows, officers have blocked several roads in the area, frein is accused of gunning down state police corporal bryon dickson 8 days ago in blooming grove. a second trooper was wounded. the self-styled survivalist has been on the run ever since stay with us up to date with the new 6abc.com check it out in this ae anywhere. a man was hurt crossing the street at summerdale and stone gate road in gloucester township, cat den county. the victim was in the intersection when a car hit him and through him several yards down the road. the man is in cooper university

hospital with a number of serious injuries. the driver stopped at the scene. there's no word on charges. also new, police are trying to determine if robbery was the motive behind a double shooting in the west oak lane section of philadelphia. the action cam was at the scene of the 7100 block of north 19th street. this is where police found a wounded man lying in the street at 10:3:50 last night. around the corner on the 1900 block of plymouth discreet officers found a second victim with the gunshot wound to the for -- forearm. there were no arrests. police are looking for whoever shot a postal worker with a bb gun. police think she was being targeted when she shot twice in the back. >> reporter: the 28-year-old postal worker left the hospital after being treated. she was limping after being shot in the knee and back with

somebody with a bb gun. the postal worker delivering mail on 1600 block of christian. she was walking up to the door and felt something strike her back. reactionary she turns quickly and she felt the second one. the shot struck the mail bag. an investigator was told by a neighbor three other shots hit a home. >> we're going to knock on doors and see if there were any issues with anybody. this evening another postal work delivered the mail under the watchful arm of an armed postal police officer. bb guns are a major concern to residents in south and southwest philadelphia particularly because they look like weapons. councilmen said this incident shows this problem has no

>> more breaking news this morning, the action cam is live on the scene in camden where two people were found stabbed less than an hour ago.amden where two it happened on the 2900 block of yorkship road at 4:00 had a. a woman in her 30s and her 17-year-old son were stabbed in the neck. two other children were taken to cooper for valuation, but were not hurt. police have taken a man into custody in connection with the stabbings, but no word on charges. a hail storm in italy was so intensity covered the streets. 50 people were hurt in the storm, farmers reported
