with an approaching cold front. behind that front it's cooler, a touch of fall with high temperatures are struggling to reach 70 degrees if the city and hanging out in the 60s north and west. when i come back inside we'll talk about the cooler weather and how long it lasts and i'll have the the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, guys? >> developing this morning an argument ended in murder outside a club in philadelphia's olney section. four men were shot at around midnight in the 5600 block of north park avenue. two of the victims died. two more were hospitalized in critical condition. dozens of people outside and inside the club had to scramble for cover. >> there was numerous vehicles in the area that were struck with stray rounds. there's numerous shell casings on the highway. the whole street looks like it was a shooting gallery. >> reporter: police say they recovered a 45 caliber gun and

another handgun. tests will be done to see if they were the weapons involved. investigators have not made any arrests or said what the argument was about. licenses and inspection is being called out to see if they had a license. officers are continuing the slow process of combing the woods in northeastern pennsylvania. him they are look looking for the man who killed a state trooper wounding the other. roman komensky said eric frein is acting out a movie fantasy. >> he wants them to come after him, he knows enough on how to set up a trap, i think the national guard should go out there, he wants to kill cops, don't send him cops.

>> reporter: it's been decided some areas that have been searched in the poconos are safe for residents, but warned residents to stay out of the woods stay with us up to date with 6abc.com. visit 6abc.com anytime anywhere. >> we are following breaking news right now. at 7:01, crozer-chester medical center nurses went on strike. the action cam is live at the picket line in up land, delaware county. 600 nurses are expected to walk out over pay cuts, pension funding and staffing levels. they are beginning what is expected to be a two-day strike. a spokesperson said staffing levels are fine and nurses are among the highest paid in the state. full time registered nurses $100,000 a year.

wuvment problems this morning -- one of the big problems this morning, you have to drive slowly keep the beements on low. -- keep the beams on low, the fog is rather thick. beach haven zero visibility. take it easy, go slow this morning. satellite arena radar we're tracking two systems, a lot of fog we're seeing is thanks to the coastal storm that is off the coast of the virginia capes. as that continues to run north it will throw cloud cover back across south jersey and northern and central delaware. eventually that cloud cover will break, as well. even those locations will see sunshine later on. here's the cold front this is the feature that will bring passing showers maybe a quick hitting thunderstorm north and west of the city, very late this afternoon into the evening. these a close up view of the coastal storm. him if there was winter this would be something we would have had to watch very closely.

it's developed off florida, this is a coastal storm. you know what happens when we talk about coastal storms. fortunately it's september it's not cold out there. this is going due northeast and we're brushed by it. winds out of the southwest gets us into the 08. combination of sun and clouds, the bulk of the rain will stay to the north an across new england and upstate new york. as we get into monday, the winds will shift and cool us back down and again it will feel like fall with temperatures in the 40s and 50s. combination of sun and clouds later this afternoon. there's the cold front right there. it shows impressive weather across central pennsylvania. as it pushes east it encounters drier air. by the time it makes its way into our neck of the woods, there's passing showers, maybe quick hitting thunderstorm and

quick rumble of thunder. monday morning it's nice and dry out there. temperatures will crash. tuesday morning we're down into the upper 30s, low 40s. morning lows in the poconos. reading, 47. philadelphia, 52. millville, 48. even wildwood upper 50s low 60s. cool stuff is on the way. lehigh valley sun and clouds, a very late afternoon shower, perhaps even shower possible. 82 degrees. the jersey shore it's going to be cloudier down there. him more humid, an onshore flow early. the winds will shift from the south and keep temperatures down. philadelphia, 83 degrees, winds out of the southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. 83 degrees by 3:00 p.m. the third quarter of the eagles game that's when we're peaking temperature wise. 6:00 p.m., 81. kind of a gray and dull morning

parts of the area in the what's categorized as abnormally dry category from the poconos to upstate new york and includes pucks and montgomery county. the soil is getting very dry and we're 4 inches below normal in the rainfall department. unfortunately the whole week ahead looks dry. we have one shot this evening, as the cold front approaches. as the cold front presses across the great lake states and the ohio valley. this coastal storm is miss us working out to sea. that will pull through tonight outside of that cold front there's no shot of moisture in the seven-day forecast. as we look ahead it will stay dry, lots of sunshine the entire week and cooler temperatures. temperatures in the low to mid 70s. eva. >> the folsom fire company put on this event to benefit the

it? >> reporter: the humidity is back, nydia. it feels okay temperature-wise, but you can feel the humidity. 67 in philadelphia. trenton, 64. one of the good things built humidity even though we're seeing high dewpoints. when temperatures are in the 50s and 60s, you don't notice that. if we were talking about highs in the upper 80s and low 90s, you will feel then. you don't feel it when the numbers are in the 60s. you feel the changes today, dewpoint wise we're in the mid 60s on our scale you can see it's in the muggy category. but by monday, the numbers drop off. tuesday, feeling like a breath of fresh air.

wednesday still comfortable, and then the numbers start creeping up again. the satellite and radar composite, you can thank that coastal storm off the screen if you look at the right-hand side of the screen, you can see the western edge of the coastal low that is pushing up the eastern seaboard that has increased the humidity. that will also increase the cloud cover across south jersey and delaware during the late morning hours. forecast for today, accuweather as he is expect a combination of sun and clouds, it will be warm and sticky. we can deal with this. 83 degrees in philadelphia. trenton, 82. allentown, 82. millville, 80. cape may and atlantic city topping out around 77 degrees. looks like a nice finish to the weekend.out around 77 degrees. should be a little uncomfortable from time to time with the humidity, but not too bad. tomorrow the numbers crash. we'll talk about that with the seven-day forecast in just a bit. we'll show you how long that cool weather sticks around.

eva? >> thanks, chris. new this morning, a pickup truck hit and killed a man who was trying to across the street in the hunting park section of philadelphia. police say the pick up hit the man just before midnight. the victim was in his 40s. the driver stopped at the scene. he is being questioned by officers. there's no word yet on charges. >> a pitbull attacked and injured three people in west oak lane. neighbors say it never should have happened. chad perdelli explains. >> reporter: a man and an 11-year-old and 9-year-old are being treated for by the wounds at einstein medical center. we're learning tonight this is not the first time this pitbull has attacked. this is the pitbull that mauled two kids and adult the attack happened in the alley before 6:00 p.m. after the dog escaped this yard. >> kids were screaming. adults were upset.

>> reporter: this woman heard the children as piercing screams and rushed out. the she saw a man swinging a shovel to word off the dog. >> i could see the blood on his arm, but the little boy was bleeding through his shorts. i'm not sure where he got bit, but you could see blood through the shorts. >> reporter: the neighborhood said the mauling should have never happened. hehe said two weeks ago the same dog attacked bandit. bandit had to be put down. >> they called me about 7:00 a.m., to say he did well through the night. an hour and half later they called me back and said more expensive than we thought it was. >> reporter: animal care and control team of philadelphia said it does not confiscate animals for dog on dog attacks. >> that needs to change. it took them two kids and grown

man to get bit by the same dogs for somebody to come out and take the dogs from them. >> reporter: we reached out to philadelphia animal control to get comment, but so far our attempts have been unsuccessful. chad perdelli channel 6 "action news." >> nearly 1,000 volunteers are searching for hannah graham, the 18-year-old has been missing for a week. volunteers met at the university basketball arena yesterday. police have spoken to a man they think was with graham in a bar on the night she disappeared. they will calling 32 jessie matthew a person of interest. him surveillance video shows her a short time later shows him. officers searched his car and apartment. >> it's entirely possible, we believe that hannah graham may have gotten into his vehicle.

>> reporter: investigators say they do not have enough information at this time to arrest or detain matthew. investigators would not say if they think graham was still alive. now hundreds of police officers are continuing their pains taking and dangerous search of a vast forest in the poconos in northeastern pennsylvania for suspected cop killer eric frein. police have decided that parts of the area they have searched are safe for residents, but they are warning the residents to stay out of the nearby woods. investigators believe that is where frein is hiding. police say the self-taught survivalist gunned down bryon dickson during an ambush a week ago, alex douglas was wounded during that attack. >> a new jersey man is under arrest for trying to enter the white house. the secret service said kevin carr first showed up on foot and again in his car. he pulled into the vehicle

screening area and refused to leave. bomb technicians searched the vehicle. carr was arrested for unlawful entry. meanwhile, we learned more about a man accused of scaling a fence and getting into the white house on friday. 42-year-old omar gonzales was carrying a 3 1/2 inch knife. he did three tours of duty in iraq. he said he was concerned that the atmosphere was collapsing. meanwhile, the first family left for a trip to camp david. gm is recalling 20,000 vehicles. it involves the cadillac 2014 to 15. gm said the brake pads can be stay partially engaged even when they are not being pressed increasing risk of fire. gm will repair the vehicles for
