before the end of the seven-day forecast i'll have details on that coming up, tam. >> thank you, david. and we've got tragic new developments in the deadly crash of a tour bus in new castle county, delaware. authorities say a second person has died and 48 other people have been hurt. katherine scott joins us live from christiana hospital in newark, she's got the very latest. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam, 50 people were on board, all were injured to some degree, we learned that a second person has died. this happened around 4:30 in new castle. it was a tour bus operated and owned by am-u.s.a. express, heading from washington to new york city. it was heading down the southbound ramp on route 1 when it lost control. a 54-year-old woman from new york was pinned under the

bus pronounced at the scene. a 30-year-old from busy stan bull died at the hospital last night. the driver was identified by police and is winning treated for injuries. they were part of a sightseeing tour group sponsored by eworld travel and tours bassed in new york city. one man driving by the accident jumped out to help out with his first aid can it in whatever way he could. >> a lot of people were screaming for help and they were bleeding. it was hard to take in all at once. >> investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> we have another developing story this morning, gunfire erupted during a cookout in southwest philadelphia. police tell "action news" that a group of people were barbecuing on a front porch along paxton

street before midnight when someone opened fire. two men are in critical condition and a 28-year-old woman was grazed in the leg. 28 shell casings littered the area. no arrests have been made. an officer shot and wounded a man who police say pointed a gun at him. it happened in west philadelphia at 9:00 p.m. authorities first received the call about an armed man in the area when officer spotted him, the man ran off and at one point investigators say the man turned around and pointed his gun at police who then shot him. the man was taken to the hospital of university of pennsylvania. no officers were hurt. >> nurses are back on the picket line at crozer-chester medical center. the nurses said they are worried about staffing levels.
