right now, we are beginning to see just the leading edge of the rain moving over sussex and kent county, delaware and in the tip of cape may, but the actual low pressure is way down to the south, off the coast of carolinas and what this will be doing is hugging the sea line, but the high pressure is up to the north and that high pressure is slowing that low down, so it will take a while for this rain to be advancing up to the north. this is the updated timeline for the rain, southern new jersey between now and 9:00, that rain is spreading up from the south. philadelphia metro area, it's rain is moving in between 9:00 and midnight. most of the area is rain free and the rain is moving in between midnight and 3:00 in the morning, the problem with the slower timetable is that the bulk of the rain is in the morning commute. this is the raw data, we look at to determine how much rain, there is a good consistency

dress shirt turned himself in here. and the buck county natives are accused in the beating of two gay men on september 11th. now chad pradelli is live with more from central detectives. >> reporter: all three defendants are awaiting arraignment and i am told that will happen in the next couple of hours, meanwhile the defense attorneys are going on the defensive. they say one of the victims escalated the violence and that say common plea. >> fill williams walked into central detectives to face aggravated assault charges, the three are accused of attacking three gay men on chancellor street nearly two weeks ago. they say that thealities case was a mutual fight. >> i can tell you with respect to my client, he was not the aggressor and did not initiate

anything and only became involved after one of the purported victims in the case punched one of the young girls in the face. >> i represent a woman that has never been in trouble, she comes from a wonderful family and has a law enforcement backgrounds in her family. >> her father is the chief of police in chalfont, buck county, they say at least one defendant hurled a homophobic slur and savagely beat then and one victim had to have hi jaw wired shut. >> those charged say the couple was not targeted because of their sexual or yenation. >> the victims are asking that everybody keep their language respectful and non-hateful. we have enough hate going around. >> all three defendants are expected to be arraigned here in the next couple of hour. bail conditions have not yet

the 56-year-old driver was driving at an unsafe speed on to 113, you can see him here after the crash, the bus was carrying 49 passengers and overturned. prosecutors say additional charges are likely. >> the early morning fire at king of prussia mall -- but shoppers that wanted to grab a bite to eat. the fire broke out in a kiosk at the food court and it took less than an hour to put it out. all the restaurants were shut down for several hours to disinfect their equipment. pennsylvania tom corbett signed a cigarette tax bill today that will pump money into philadelphia schools. superintendant, william hite was by his side for the signing. the tax will inject $38 million per year into the cash strapped school district and it's not

issue not one but two fixes for the new operating system. consumers immediately had problems with apps and software. they sent out 8.01, that caused people to lose cell reception and then a short time later they pulled the update. wal-mart is getting into the banking business and the company is launching a checking account for customers that eliminate the fees charged by banks, it's called the go bank account. and a membership fee of $8.95 with a direct deposit of $8.92 a month. the ribbon was cut on a new wal-mart in northeast philadelphia, located at philadelphia mills malls, it's newly renamed franklin mills mall.

clipping the southern tip of cape may. this is slowly moving up towards the north. what it is doing is bringing an easterly wind off the ocean. currently in philadelphia, 71 degrees, the average high is 75 and wilmington 71 and reading and allentown 70 and millville 68 degrees and sea isle city 78 degrees, satellite 6 along with action radar, showing the clouds arrived already and the low pressure is to the south and we vtd high pressure to the north, this is creating dry air and this is why the rain is really taking its time arriving but it's moving slowly and it's bringing us a soaking rain ain lots of that during it's morning commute, future tracker is showing around midnight we'll see the rain moving into the philadelphia region, heavy rain in parts of delaware and south jersey and expands to the northwest suburbs and look at

this, 7:00 tomorrow morning, future tracker showing heavy downpours and good idea to allow plenty of time for your morning commute and pack your patience, this will cause a lot of problems. as we head through the day at 11:00, most of that heavy rain moving well north of philadelphia, and the afternoon, it's not going to be a soaking rain but spotdy showers in the afternoon and evening hours, the commute will be a lot easier than the morning commute. the heaviest rain will be between 1:00 in the morning and 10:00 in the morning. again that means the morning commute will be slow and it tapers off in the afternoon. we are looking at generally 1 to 2 inches of rain and locally 1 inches of rain and the problem for the potential for flooding at the shore is the wind. future tracker showing winds 5:30 in the morning seeing it generally from the east, wind gusts at the shore up to 40

miles per hour and inland about 25 miles per hour and by 10:00 this shows that near the center of that low pressure the winds are not that strong and winds up to 30 miles per hour. and as we head into the afternoon and evening hours, you'll notice the streamlines, the winds shift to the north and gradually diminishing and that will not be piling up the water at the shore but earlier in the day you get the easterly flow. the key times from the south tonight between 9:00 and midnight areas to the north and the high tide, key times are 9:00 and noon tomorrow. so the five-day at 5:00 showing tomorrow rainy and windy and cool and 66 degrees, sunshine is back on friday afternoon and 75 degrees, look at this weekend, 81 and 82, and even monday 80 degrees and that will not continue much longer and changes next week in the accuweather forecast.
